Marco "Matrix" Materazzi of Inter Milan was quoted by Corriere dello Sport on his accidental meeting with Zinedine Zidane and a strange relationship with Mario Balotelli:

Italy's Marco Materazzi falls on the pitch after being head-butted by France's Zinedine Zidane (R) during their World Cup 2006 final soccer match in Berlin in this July 9, 2006 file photo. France captain Zinedine Zidane was sent off in. extra time after headbutting Italy's Marco Materazzi in the Berlin World Cup soccer final with the score tied at 1-1.. Materazzi had levelled the score after Zidane scored the opening goal from a penalty. Italy went on to win the penalty shootout 5-3. Picture taken July 9, 2006.
"I was coming out of the hotel (where I had gone to see Jose' Mourinho), when someone tried to stop me. There is a problem, they said. Zidane was parked right next to your car. I responded that I didn't see where there was a problem. I went out, found myself in front of Zidane and took advantage of the occasion to tell him a few things. Things that he and I know that stay between us. Let's say that it was I who spoke more and when he at the end, he put out his hand, and I took it tightly and didn't let go until he didn't look me in the face. That was what I wanted. It went down like this. For me, it was great. For him, I don't know."
"A slap and a scarf in the face arrived (he didn't say who initiated but let's assume it was him). But when they operated on Balotelli, I was at the hospital. I was there at midnight to keep him company..."
Zlatan Ibrahimovic of AC Milan thinks Matrix and Massimo Moratti are obsessed with him in quotes with La Gazzetta dello Sport:
AC Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic (C) celebrates after scoring a third goal against Brescia during their Italian Serie A soccer match at the San Siro stadium in Milan December 4, 2010.
***** Quote of the Week *****
"Materazzi speaks a little too much about me, just like Moratti. You see that I am still very important to them. I, on the other hand, never speak about them. You see that they are not important to me."
Massimo Moratti of Inter Milan placed Rafa Benitez on proverbial thin ice ahead of the FIFA World Club Cup in the United Arab Emirates:
Inter Milan's Spanish coach Rafael Benítez reacts during their UEFA Champions League Group A football match Werder Bremen (Germany) against Inter Milan (Italy) on December 7, 2010 in the Weserstadion in Bremen, western Germany. Bremen won by 3-0.
"I don't want to create problems either before or during the World Club Cup, afterward, we shall see. Benitez has to have character because if not, you will not win a competition such as this. You have to grab hold of the team, and make everything run like a watch."
Alessandro Nesta of AC Milan discussed his good friend, Marco Di Vaio of Bologna, a former youth teammate at Lazio, and the best man (official witness) at his wedding, in the Corriere dello Sport:
AC Milan defender Alessandro Nesta, left, challenges for the ball with Juventus forward Fabio Quagliarella during the Serie A soccer match between AC Milan and Juventus at the San Siro stadium in Milan, Italy, Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010.
"Marco is a great friend. A great and beautiful person. I'm very pleased for the example that he's giving this season to everyone in the world of sport with his team." He began to play with Di Vaio in the youth ranks at Lazio. "Now, however, I hope to shut down his great form if only on Sunday, of course."

BOLOGNA, ITALY - DECEMBER 08: Marco Di Vaio of Bologna FC celebrates scoring his team's second goal in injury time during the Serie A match between Bologna FC and AC Chievo Verona at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on December 8, 2010 in Bologna, Italy.
Gigi Del Neri of Juventus discussed his concept of equality in La Gazzetta dello Sport:

Juventus coach Luigi Del Neri (L) gestures as Alessandro Del Piero walks off during their Italian Serie A soccer match against Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris stadium in Genoa November 21, 2010.
“Non c’è nulla di dovuto. A nessuno.
"Nothing is owed. To anybody. Here at Juventus, everyone starts at the same place. Those that deserve to play, play. And the discussion is the same for everyone: Buffon, Del Piero, Motta, Sorensen and Amauri. It's the right time to iterate that nothing is owed to any player. How will we change the playing order of the keepers when Buffon will return? There aren't any hierarchies and there will not be. Buffon will play if he'll demonstrate being the best in the world. But to leave out Marco Storari for how he is playing is difficult."
Trivia
The last team to defeat Juventus was Palermo in Week/Giornata 4.
