"Cassano is without a doubt a great player. I read in the papers that we have made strides (to sign him). I don't really believe this. His arrival? For the moment, it is fantasy football."
Max Allegri of AC Milan was quoted by Mediaset on the diminishing role of Ronaldinho Gaucho:

AC Milan's Ronaldinho (R) listens to his coach Massimiliano Allegri before entering the field during their Champions League Group G soccer match against AJ Auxerre at Abbe Deschamps stadium in Auxerre November 23, 201
"Was Ronaldinho humiliated for his two minutes on the pitch against Sampdoria? I have never humiliated him. I don't like making changes for the sake of change. I make a change when I see that the team needs it, and Saturday there wasn't a need until I saw that Clarence Seedorf was a little tired. In the last few games, I have kept Ronaldinho on the bench, but it's not that bad. I do it for the good of Milan."

Inter Milan forward Samuel Eto'o, of Cameroon, fastens the shoelaces of Brescia goalkeeper Michele Arcari during the Serie A soccer match between Inter Milan and Brescia at the San Siro stadium in Milan, Italy, Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010.
Michele Arcari, the goalkeeper for Brescia, had an interesting quote a few weeks ago about Samuel Eto'o in La Gazzetta dello Sport:
"During the game, one of my shoes came unlaced. It was impossible to tie them with my gloves. I called out to my bench, but Samuel Eto'o arrived. He bent over, tied them, and asked me if it was ok. I was speechless."Zlatan Ibrahimovic was quoted in Vanity Fair:

AC Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic (front) scores against Fiorentina during their Italian Serie A soccer match at the San Siro stadium in Milan November 20, 2010.
"I consider myself the best in the world. For me, second doesn't exist. And the future? I think I'll play for three more years at the most. You ought to quit when you are at the top... To the Inter Milan supporters who were angry at his transfer to AC Milan, he responded like this:
"First, you need to understand if they are truly upset or do it for political reasons. Secondly, if you are a true fan, you are content with what I did for Inter. This at least remained with me. A positive memory."
**** Quote of the Week ****
Wesley Sneijder of Internazionale was quoted by La Gazzetta dello Sport about his former manager, Jose' Mourinho:

MILAN, ITALY - NOVEMBER 24: Wesley Sneijder of FC Internazionale Milano during the UEFA Champions League Group A match between FC Internazionale Milano and FC Twente at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on November 24, 2010 in Milan, Italy.
"One time, Mourinho told me that I had tired air and sent me for a few days of rest to spend time with my wife and daughter. All of the other managers spoke to me only about training. He sent me to the beach. So I left for three days in Ibiza, Spain, and when I returned, I was ready to kill and die for him."
Mourinho, according to the Inter man, is special also because with him, "the most important thing is not training, but the recovery time."
Francesco Totti commented in Tuttosport about Jose' Mourinho, FC Barcelona and his former teammate, Pep Guardiola:
ROME - NOVEMBER 23: Francesco Totti of AS Roma scores the third goal during the UEFA Champions League Group E match between AS Roma and FC Bayern Muenchen at Stadio Olimpico on November 23, 2010 in Rome, Italy.
"If Mourinho had played three teams yesterday against Barcelona, they would have lost, not only Real Madrid. They were devastating. They ran less than Real Madrid and made them chase after the ball. This is the strongest team of all time. They have great players and a great coach."
