In the 11th minute an attempt by Alessandro Diamanti with a left footed shot  from outside the box... action blocked by Romania.   Good to see Diamanti with the Azzurri now.

Bad news for Romania as defender Cristian Chivu injures and forced a substitution in the 16th minute while substituted by our Palermo defender Dorin Goian.   Inter won't be happy adding another injured player to the list. Let's hope Chivu recovers.

In the 32nd minute the first yellow card of the match is for Romania midfielder Gabriel Torje  for a foul on forward Mario Balotelli.

In the 34th minute the first goal of the match and is for Romania!!!!!!   Gosh, there you go Ciprian Marica delivering a right footed shot from the center defeating Italy goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano in the top left corner.  Immediate celebration from Romania fans in the stadium and Mariga congratulated by his teammates.  You bet this is an important goal for Marica.   Wake up Italia....

wow, wow, wow, wow...  a scary moment for Italy in  the 77th minute when Romania almost score another goal with Gabriel Tamas delivering a right footed shot though Italy goalkeeper Viviano saving in the center.... no more goals...    Italy defense wake uppppppp

This is not possible.  Gosh, we are losing another player for injury!  In the 80th minute Prandelli substituting my beloved Roman gladiator Daniele De Rossi bringing forward Giampaolo Pazzini.   Now, Italy should increase pressing......

Redemption has come!!!!!!   In the 82nd minute an assist by the Sleepy Prince Andrea Pirlo following a corner  conceded by Tatarusanu to forward Fabio Quagliarella and we are talking, oh yeah...    Quagliarella on time to deliver a headed shot from the left side where Romania goalkeeper could not save in the bottom left corner

Romania creating danger.... in the 84th minute Dan Alexa challenging Viviano in the bottom right corner and he saves.....   oh no.. the least we could do is to concede a goal now.

In the 87th minute Referee gives a yellow card to Alberto Aquilani for a foul.

Oh gosh, there he is agian..  Alexa in the 90th minute  with a right footed shot and another save in the bottom left corner....

Well, this is it.....  Referee whistles the end of the game... it s a draw....  hum?  A fair testing game for the newcomers, though not really passing the test as Prandelli at the end bringing the  traditional first team to resolve the situation.   Good for QUAGLIARELLA.
