Stephen Appiah of Cesena was quoted by La Gazzetta dello Sport about his roots in Accra, Ghana:

Premier Silvio Berlusconi held out more than a handshake after last Saturday's match to Juventus legend, Alex Del Piero, quoted by Corriere dello Sport.

Antonio Cassano was quoted by Corriere dello Sport on his latest difficulties with Sampdoria:
