Italy  Under 21 playing the Play-Off against Belarus. Play-off matches are played according to the knockout system, with each team playing each opponent home and away.  Italy will play the away game against Belarus on October 12.  A home victory today is a must for the Azzurrini. Italy Under-21 are five-time winners with the mission to win the sixth title.   Come on Italia, forza Azzurrini.
 

In the 30th minute a great move by the Azzurrini starting with Diego Fabbrini making the assist to Mattia Destro.  Fabbrini passing three Belarus players  while Destro unmarked and on a one on one  in front of Belarus goalkeeper Aleksandr Gutor.  Destro positioning himself to deliver his right footed shot leaving on the ground Gutor.  Destro running to celebrate with his teammates including his ex buddy in Inter defender Davide Santon.
Italy 1 - 0 Belarus

Destro gets a yellow card in the 32nd minute.

Italy coach Pierluigi Casiraghi substitutes Destro in the 53rd minute with Luca Marrone.
 
Second goal for Italy in the 61st minute. Yep.  An assist toward the center of the area where  there were Fabbrini and Stefano Okaka.  First it looks the goal was by Fabbrini, yet,  the replay showing the goal indeed was from Stefano Okaka.   Immediately a roaring chant from Italy fans in the stadium saying "Italia, Italia, Italia, Italia"
Italy 2 - 0 Belarus

Three minutes stoppage time and Italy   obtaining this important home victory.
