AC Milan Ronaldinho congratulated by former ex AC Milan coach Leonardo after defeating AS Roma on October 18, 2009

Tributes to Leonardo and Silvio Berlusconi

Remembrances from another era that the Milan player evoked in a long interview today with the French daily, L'Equipe. But without losing contact with the past reality and some delusions and the great ambitions made possible by, "A great manager," who allowed Ronaldinho to relaunch  himself and "Do what you like on the pitch."

On His Special Relationship with Silvio Berlusconi

"It was as if he were my father or a big brother. I know that I can count on him and can call him anytime that I need."

Perhaps for prolonging his Milan contract that expires in June:

"If he says that I'll finish my career at Milan, well there's nothing to add. Here, I don't have any problems."

On His Desire to Play Again for the Brazilian Selection

"No Brazilian player has done better than me in Europe. I deserved to be selected (for the World Cup.) I am now at the levels when I won everything with Barcelona. The problem is that when you play very well, fans get used to it and if there is a drop, they cast doubt and fabricate things."

The objective, therefore, is to put on the Brazil shirt once again.

"It would be great to play in the next World Cup in Brazil, but I'm also thinking ahead to 2018. Age isn't a problem for me. Paolo Maldini played until he was 40 years of age. I would like to do the same."

On His Life Away from the Field

"I didn't watch even one game of the World Cup. I don't like to sit for 90 minutes in front of a television."

Perhaps it is better to go out risking gossip about his (well-known) night life:

"I am a normal person. If I can do something and have time to do it, Igo for it. But I've never been over the top. Then you give your answer on the pitch
