I agree with Chiellini that in the second half  the Italian National team  had difficulty to find their game. Moreover, after the goal from Kolo Toure, Italy struggled even harder.    Chiellini commented to be "very disappointed with the loss because the group wanted to start a new era with a win. The defeat has left us with a bitter taste in our mouths."

Obviously, Chiellini  admitting that the Italian national team are not yet at the top of their condition. Chiellini  said  that  "There is a great will to make up and cancel the World Cup which was a great disappointment for all.  We are working to return to the levels that fit Italy.Today we made certain mistakes but with a bit of luck we could have drawn and perhaps won. I am hopeful because the team is good and there is a great will to return to winning."

What I don't like about  Chiellini's declaration is the current attitude of the Italian National team with the feeling of hoping "for luck" to win a game.  I think enough is enough and Italy must rely 100% on winning their games convincingly with quality, technique and not hoping to have "a bit of luck."   Italy must improve but fast on the defense before the EURO 2012 qualification.

In my opinion, Chiellini was one of the best today.  True, that Italy had only 2 days to train with new Italy head coach Cesare Prandelli and is not enough as Chiellini said. 

Chiellini not disappointed for Prandelli choosing 5 Juventus players in the starting lineup. "Juventus has this season set its sights on recruiting and playing a lot of hone-grown talent. So, it is normal that there are many players from our club in the national team. Also, we have begun our training program earlier than other Serie A clubs," concluded Chiellini.
