No Italian Serie A players called up for the United States.  Two Italian Serie A players playing with Brazil National team:

AC Milan defender Thiago Silva played all 90 minutes
AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato scored a goal in the 45th minute and was replaced by Andre in the 68th minute.  Pato had scored a goal in the 32nd minute but it was disallowed.

I watched the game and my heart beat so fast when seeing our AC Milan players  Thiago Silva and Alexandre Pato battling as giants against the United States.  It was quite a moment in the 32nd minute when for about 30 seconds, or almost a minute, Pato celebrated his headed goal,  and I was jumping all over when suddenly PUFFFF.. what?  Hello, Referee disallowed the goal because he had crashed into USA goalkeeper Howard.

However, Pato not giving up.  In the extra time of the first half, there you go guys a BAM BAM BAM goooalllllll.. Yep!  In the 45th minute there was the action when Ramires'  through ball split Bornstein and Carlos Bocanegra while Pato out smart USA goalkeeper Tim Howard and  not wasting any moment  smacked the open net.  It's the second goal from Pato with Brazil national football team in nine appearances.  Way to go Pato!
 
Brazil  once again defeating the United States for the 15th time out of their 16 encounters.  Stats favoring Brazil now having scored 31 goals against the United States who had scored only 10 against Brazil.
