- According to training, Prandelli might use a 4-2-3-1 formation against Ivory coast. The doubt is about which goalkeeper to use either Palermo goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu or Bologna forward Emiliano Viviano. Prandelli might use Mario Balotelli as a left winger.
"Nine of the 11 places already decided. We will try all our attackingpotetial against Ivory Coast," Italy Head Coach Cesare Prandelli.
