Just 7 minutes later, bam, an assist by Cesc Fabregas, who came as a substitute, sends the pass to Andres Iniesta delivering his right footed shot blasting Netherlands goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg in the far bottom left corner. The moment of glory while Iniesta, players, and staff celebrating and Netherlands players asking to resume the game fast not wasting more minutes. It is the most violent final ending with 14 yellow cards.
It was heartbreaking to watch at the end of the game the sadness from Wesley Sneijer with tearful eyes. However, Sneijder deserves all recognition for his good contribution to his national team helping to bring them all the way to the Final. Sneijder also scoring 5 goals like David Villa, Diego Forlan, and Thomas Muller. Sneijder winning the Silver Ball while Uruguay striker Diego Forlan winning the Golden Ball, and Spain striker David Villa the Bronze Ball. Well done Sneijder.
