Netherlands in the 4th position of the FIFA World Cupranking while Slovakia in the 34th position.  A battle of the giant andthe newcomer.  Netherlands and Slovakia have never played before. Yet, Netherlands played against Czechoslovakia in the 1938 World Cup. Czechoslovakia 3 - 0 Netherlands.  Now, Slovakia after their independence in 1993  playing their first World Cup looking to defeat Netherlands too.

Opening the score is Netherlands in the 18th minute with a super long range cross from Wesley Sneijder  to Arjen Robben coming from the right making his own magic before cutting inside two Slovakia defenders to deliver a left footed shot  from about 20 yards defeating goalkeeper Mucha....

In the 80th minute, it's the time for AC Milan forward Klaas Jan Huntelaar replacing  Robin Van Persie.   Huntelaaer at least will play 10 minutes, come on Huntelaaer forzaaaa

In the 84th minute  a goal by Wesley Sneijder running  almost unmarked to get a cross  and delivering a right footed shot from the center of the area..and bam bam bam goooalllll


 In the 85th mintue Referee Undiano gives a yellow card to Skrtel  for arguing in the aftermath of the goal...   Skrtel keeps protesting.

In the 87th minute  Slovakia making a substitution, Marek Hamsik out, and Sapara in.

In the 92nd minute Netherlands making  a substitution, more to give time for the fans to greet Wesley Sneijder for his super well job today.  Seinjer leaving the pitch and applauding the fans. Sneijder replaced by Affelay.

Oopss just towards the end of the game in the 93rd minute Netherlands goalkeeper  Maarten Stekelenburg  concedes  a penalty.   Taking the penalty spot is Slovakia forward Vittek  increasing his goal to 4 in this World Cup.....

Match ends with 52% Ball Possession  Netherlands  and  48% Ball Possession Slovakia
