Although Australia defeated Serbia it was not enough to pass the round of 16.  For goal difference  Ghana passing to the round of 16 along Germany even if Germany defeated Ghana.  Here is the thing. Australia and Ghana got 4 points but  Ghana a positive goal difference of 0 while Australia a negative goal difference of -3.

1 Italy Serie B Player with AUSTRALIA National Soccer team

 Sassuolo midfielder Carl Valeri  played 66 minutes, then, substituted by Brett Hollman.


3 Italy Serie A players with Serbia National Football team in the2010 World Cup


Defender Aleksandar Kolarov (Lazio) did not play, but listed in the substitutes

  Midfielder Dejan Stankovic (Inter Milan)  Captain, played all 90 minutes

First half ends 45% ball possession Australia and 55% ball possession Serbia.

In the 69th minute, Australia opening the score in the 69th minute with Tim Cahill heading the ball from about 12 yards all the way to the bottom right corner  and celebration starting.

In the 73rd minute,  a right footed shot by  Brett Holman from about 27 yards practically closing the match when scoring the second goal of the match after the ball bounced once.

hey, now, there is hope for Serbia shortening the distance in the 84th minute.  Schwarzer spilling the ball while Marko Pantelic   sees the golden chance to deliver his right right footed shot in the lower right corner.
