Official Goalkeeper Marco Storari Sign a 3 Year Contract with Juventus on Wednesday, June 23, 2010

ByAnna Italia

It is official.  Juventus official website announcing the transfer  market from goalkeeper Marco Storari for 3 years .  Storari underwent medical testson Tuesday, June 22, 2010 early morning at the Fornaca clinic in Sessant and then at the Isokinetic Centre and the Centre for Sports Medicine.  Juventus and AC Milan reaching an agreement for 4,5 million euros.  The registration of the contract with the Lega Calcio  signed on Wednesday, June 23, 2010.

Juventus Tickets Storari was on loan from AC Milan in Sampdoria where he had a great season helping in the qualification of te 4th position for the UEFA Champions League playoff.  Storari will meet ex Sampdoria coach Luigi Del Neri in Juventus.

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon undergoing  back surgery after the World Cup.  Storari will be replacing Buffon until he can recover.  Personally, I am happy for Storari getting a good contract, but also sad that AC Milan did not keep him.  I consider Storari a top goalkeeper.  Would not have been better for Storari, at this point, remain with Sampdoria where they will will be battling for the UEFA Champions League playoff instead of joining Juventus out of the two big European competitions Champions League and  Europa League?

Storari in Sampdoria was first goalkeeper, in Juventus will be second goalkeeper.

I can't say I have an opinion on Juventus' new GK, though I bet its a good idea because Buffon is older and injured (back surgery sounds bad to me).
But I was wondering I saw your older post saying when Serie A starts, but I wondered if you had any idea when the schedule will be released?

I am from the state of Washington on the eastern side, but I am studying abroad in rome in the autumn. Thats why my main team is Roma (though I like Palermo too) unfortunately the Premier League is what I normally watch but Serie A comes in second.

How lucky you are to be in ROMA in Autumn and hope you go to one of the games at the Olimpico. The Serie A calendar will be announced either last week of July or first weeks of August. I will post it here as soon as the Lega Calcio announce it.
