1 Italy  Serie A player with SLOVAKIA National Football team: Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik playing all 90 minutes and Captain.

Italian Soccer Serie A   congratulates Napoli midfielder  for being selected as Captain of the Slovakia national Football team with only 22 years old.  I feel so proud to see Hamsik with his spiky hair  leading Slovakia.  It is the first participation of Slovakia in the World Cup since their independence in 1993 with the dissolution of  Czechoslovakia.

I watched the game   and I had tears when seeing our Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik making his entrance in his first World Cup during the World Cup Group F game against New Zealand on Tuesday, June 15, 2010.  You bet I was   applauding Hamsik all the way and singing the Napoli, Napoli, Napoli, Forza Napoli, Napoli, Napoli oh oh oh

Slovakia taking the lead in the 50th minute with Robert Vittek with a headed goal after a  cross from the right by Sestak.  Just towards the end in added time, precisely in the 93rd minute, New Zealand Winston Reid  with a headed goal snatching away the victory ending with a 1- 1 draw.   Slovakia is in Group F along New Zealand, Paraguay and Italy.
