Covering the 2010 World Cup South Africa from an Italian Perspective


Italian Soccer Serie A   congratulates the  Italian Serie A and Serie B Players called up  by their respective national teams for the 2010 World Cup South Africa.   Brazil is the  team having the most Serie A players with 8 called ups followed by Argentina with 7, Ghana with 6, Uruguay with 5, Switzerland with 4, Chile, Denmark,  Greece, and Serbia with 3; USA, Slovakia with 1.

Guys,  so happy to see  Brazil with an Italian defense having 4 defenders from the Serie A and Ghana with  an Italian midfield having 4 midfielders from the league.  I will be covering the progress form our Italian Serie A players with  their national teams. Another detail, all Italy 23-man squad  called up players from Italy Head Marcello Lippi  play in the Italian Serie A.
