 Countdown... after this week there is only 1 more game to end the 2009- 2010 Italy Serie A Season. All games will be played at the same time 15:00 Italy time.

The race for the Scudetto reduced to a 2 race teams  FC Inter  in first place with 79 points followed by AS Roma with 77 points.   The race for the 4th position continues  because Palermo - Sampdoria ends with a 1 - 1 draw.  The    defining  game today was  Napoli 2 - 0 Atalanta, the defeat sends Atalanta to relegation directly to the Serie B. .  Napoli confirming their presence in the UEFA Europa League next year.  Udinese forward Antonio "TOTO" Di Natale scoring two goals  against AS   Bari and is the top scorer of the Serie A with 28 goals followed by Inter forward Diego Milito with 21 goals.

The match Genoa vs AC Milan  played closed doors as informed the Prefetto di Genova Francesco Musolino for safety and security reasons. Roma fans going to the Olimpico wearing for solidarity to Totti the Jersey 10.

 Palermo 1 - 1 Sampdoria: Wow, guys, in the  53rd minute Referee Roberto Rosetti gives a penalty to Sampdoria after Palermo goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu commits a foul on Semioli inside the area.  Taking the penalty shot is Sampdoria forward Giampaolo Pazzini   converting with a right footed shot after taking a meditated pause to blast Sirigu in the   bottom right corner.  Pazzini runs to celebrate with Sampdoria fans.

Match stats:  60% Ball Possession Palermo and 40% Ball Possession Sampdoria


 Napoli 2 - 0 Atalanta:  Napoli in the Europa League!!!  In the 44th minute an assist by Napoli forward German Denis to forward Fabio Quagliarella making a right footed shot  to blast Atalanta goalkeeper  in the bottom left corner.  Just toward the end in the 83rd minute, there it is again, QUA QUA QUA QUA QUAGLIARELLLA  with an assist by Mariano Bogliacino  heading the ball  from the right  side blasting Atalanta goalkeeper Consigli in  the top right corner.  The   total explosion now and it is all about  Napoli reaching the Europa League.  Napoli fans standing to applaud Quagliarella and captain Paolo Cannavaro congratulating Quagliarellla..Close up from Napoli president De Laurentis  with a smile from ear to ear......  Quagliarella making his giro allo stadio!!!

 Udinese 3 - 3 Bari: In the 18th minute an assist by Leonardo Bonucci to  Barreto  delivering a right footed shot blasting Udinese goalkeeper Samir Handanovic in the bottom left corner.  A super moment for Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale scoring his 100th goal  in the 21st minute to equalize the score after an assist by Mauricio Isla.  Guys, close up from Di Natale showing a jersey with the number 100 to celebrate while his teammate  run to congratulate him. In the 26th minute, an assist by Di Natale to forward Simone Pepe  to take the lead with a left footed shot blasting goalkeeper Padelli  in the bottom right corner.  Ruining the party  for Udinese fans was Bari forward Sergio Almiron scoring  in the 90th minute to  get a draw.

 AS Roma 2 - 1 Cagliari: It's just a rollercoaster. Cagliari Andrea Lazzari opens the score in the 73rd minute  with a left footed shot blasting  JulioSergio in the bottom right corner.  The news of the goal from Cagliriwas  applauded in San Siro by Inter fans feeling the Scudetto closer.  Six minutes later, Roma captain Francesco Totti equalizes in the 79th minufte.  Towards the end of the match, the moment of glory for the Roman gladiators.   Capitano  Francesco Totti converting a penalty in the 83rd minute putting Roma in the lead again to fight for the Scudetto.

 Bologna 1 - 1 Catania:  In the 15th minute, Bologna forward Marco Di Vaio opens the score with a left footed shot blasting Catania goalkeeper in the bottom right corner after an assist by Antonio Busce.  Catania equalizes in the 51st minute with forward Maxi Lopez delivering a right footed shot all the way to the bottom right corner.

 Fiorentina 1 -  1 Siena:  In the 3rd minute an assist by  Emanuele Calaio' to forward Simone Vergassola delivering a right footed shot blasting Fiorentina goalkeeper Sebastien Frey in the center.  In the 15th minute Marco Marchionni equalizes with a right footed shot  after an assist by Stevan Jovetic

Genoa 1 -  0 AC Milan: In the 57th minute following a corner and Genoa takes the lead with the assist by Ivan Fatic to Giuseppe Sculli who had only to head the ball from close range blasting Milan goalkeeper Dida in the top right corner.

 
 Juventus 2 - 3 Parma:  In the 16th minute an assist by forward Vincenzo Iaquinta to Captain Alessandro Del Piero delivering a right footed shot blasting Parma goalkeeper in the bottom right corner.  In the 20th minute, there you go guys, Parma forward Davide Lanzafame  equalizing with a right footed shot blasting Juventus goalkeeper  Gigi Buffon  in the center. Surprise, surprise..  the very same Lanzafame adding a super cold shower in the Olimpico when delivering  a right footed shot after the assist by forward Hernan Crespo.  wow, a sad part the match delay  few minutes because  encounter with Juve and Parma fans....  In the 90th minute, Juventus forward Vincenzo Iaquinta shortening the distance with a right footed shot blasting Parma goalkeeper in the top right corner. 


 
Inter Milan 4 - 3 Chievo Verona
:  A crazy  start.  Guys, in the 13th minute there is an own goal  by Inter defender Thiago Motta when trying to clear the shot by Marcolini. Yet, imagine.. a minute  later another own goal in the 14th minute this time  from Chievo with Mantovani trying to clear the shot by Inter forward Samuel Eto'o!!!  Taking the lead Inter in the 34th minute  with assist by Maicon to midfielder Esteban Cambiasso delivering a left footed shot leaving Chievo goalkeeper  just observing the ball in the bottom right corner. 
 
Match stats:  70% Ball Possession Inter and 30% Ball Possession Chievo
 

 Livorno 1 - 2 Lazio:  Lazio saved after Napoli defeating Atalatna.   Opening the score for Lazio is Captain Tommaso Rocchi after an assist  by Kolarov.  Rocchi delivering a right footed shot to the bottom left corner from cloose range.   A short moment of hope in the 33rd minute for Livorno when Captain Cristiano Lucarelli equalizes with a left footed shot after an assist  by Cristian Raimondi.
