 Countdown... after this week there are only 3 more games to end the2009 - 2010 Italy Serie A Season. The race for the Scudetto reduced to a 2 race teams after Palermo defeated AC Milan.  Inter taking the lead after defeating Atalanta.  Inter with 73 points back to rule the Serie A while Sampdoria defeating AS Roma and they remain in second place with 71 points.  Also, in the race for the 4th position, Sampdoria take over and jumps Palermo....

Let met ell you,  a long range assist by Sneijder but while Atalanta trying toclear with Paolo Bianco, rushing to get the ball is Diego Milito and running so fast until getting the ball while Atalanta goalkeeper Coppola anticipates the action leaving the goal empty and mamma miaaaa I wasjust saying "brilliant, brilliant" it was a goal by Milito over Coppola and like in slow motion all alone inside the goal!!!!!  It's the 20thgoal of the season from Milito. In the35th minute, the whole action starting with midfielder Sneijder forcing all Atalanta players to  be alert, then, Sneijder passing to Samuel Eto'o but Eto'o slipping but on time to make the assist finding MacDonald Mariga available to deliver a right footed shot bam bam bam blast Atalanta goalkeeper Coppola in the top right corner.

Palermo 3 - 1 AC Milan: Say what?  Oh my gosh.. there you go a goalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll  In the 9th minute, a left footed shot from defender Cesare Bovo from the second post blasting Milan goalkeeper Dida in the bottom right corner following a corner.  In the 18th minute, an assist by Fabrizio Miccoli to forward Abel Hernandez delivering a left footed shot blasting Dida in the bottom right corner.  In the 55th minute,an assist by Ronaldinho  to Clarence Seedorf with a right footed shot blasting Palermo goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu in the bottom right corner and Milan players celebrating believing in the come back while Palermo fans whistling.  In the 69th minute the gates of paradise opening for Palermo when Captain Fabrizio Miccoli  increases the score delivering a right footed shot blasting Milan goalkeeper with a slow stretch in the top corner.   Hello, the whole  action with Liverani in the middle of 2 Milan players, Gattuso...Though, Liverani freeing himself to make a pass to Miccoli who not hesitating and bam bam  bam...  ..

Sunday, April 25, 2010 - ItalySerie A Week 35


Udinese 4 - 1 AC Siena : Siena opening the score in the 16th minute, but Referee Rosetti ruling out the goal by  Emanuele Calaio for offside. In the 19th minute, an assist by Mauricio Isla with a cross to finding Udinese forward Simone Pepe in the center of the area  to jump  high heading the ball to blast Siena goalkeeper in the lower left corner. In the 40th minute, Siena finally  scoring with the combo  between Massimo Maccarone and Emanuele Calaio.  First it is Maccarone to create danger and passing to Calaio' making a diagonal left footed shot blasting Udinese goalkeeper Samir Handanovic in the lower right corner. Immediate celebration from coach Malesani knowing  it is an important goal for the salvation.

Three minuter later, bam bam bam again Udinese forward Simone Pepe blasting Siena goalkeeper with a right footed shot in the lower right corner.  Udinese also fighting for salvation and the fans  applauding Pepe.  In the 63rd minute, a right footed shot from Udinese forward Alexis Sanchez increasing the score while Udinese fans celebrate knowing their salvation is closer with this victory.   Oops in the 80th minute, Referee Rosetti gives a penalty to Udinese after Marco Malago' brings down Alexis Sanchez inside the penalty area. Taking the penalty spot is Udinese captain Antonio Di Natale. Wow, Di Natale converts  the penalty with a right footed shot blasting Siena goalkeeper Curci in the  lower left corner.  DI Natale   always the top scorer with 25 goals.

Livorno 3 - 1 Catania
:  In the 48th minute, Referee Pierpaoli gives a second yellow card to Catania Ciro Capuano bringing down  Davide Di Gennaro inside the penalty area and it is send off.  Taking the penalty shot is Livorno forward Cristiano Lucarelli converting the penalty with a right footed shot in the lower right corner. It seems Livorno is awakening when the odds for salvation are  negative, yet, in this game they are sho2ing determination.  In the 60th minute an assist by Cristiano Lucarelli to forward Claudio Belluci delivering a right footed shot.  Wow, , just unbelievable, in the 66th minute, Livorno again scoring with Bervgold. The joy from Livorno fans, and at this point  a  very tenue light at the end of the tunnel.  Can salvation be possible for Livorno in the 20th position. .

Napoli  0 - 0 Cagliari:  A draw keeping away the dream for the Champions League for Napoli.

Fiorentina 0 - 2 Chievo : Fiorentina had the chance to open the score in the 51st minute when Referee Peruzzo grants a penalty  conceded by Morero after bringing down forward Alberto Gilardino inside the penalty area.   Just when almost everybody  expected a  goal, Fiorentina midfielder Juan Manuel Vargas fails because  Chievo goalkeeper Sorrentino saves!!!

In the  54th minute following a fast break, there is the assist by BojanJ okic to forward Sergio Pellissier making a left footed shot blasting Fiorentina goalkeeper Frey in the  bottom right corner.   In the 75th minute, it is Pellissier  serving the assist to Gennaro Saldo.  Unbelievable but Fiorentina going down.  Pellissier to Sardo making  a right footed shot  blasting  Frey in the center.   A Cold shower in the Artemio Franchi Stadium.

Genoa 1 - 2 Lazio :  In the 8th minute, an assist by Omar Milanetto to Genoa forward Rodrigo Palacio with a diagonal right footed  shot defeating Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera in the lower left corner..  In the 25th minute, Lazio equalizing with Andre Dias with a headed goal from the center of the area after an assist by Roberto Baronio. In the 32nd minute, Lazio forward Sergio Floccari scoring with a right footed shot blasting Genoa goalkeeper in the lower right corner.

Bologna 2 - 1 Parma:  In the 23rd minute, an assist by Daniele Galloppa finding forward Jonathan Biabiany  passing 2 Bologna players Lanna and Moras to deliver  a right footed shot in the lower left corner. A moment of relief for Bologna in the 39th minute when Antonio Busce'  makes the assist to forward Marco Di Vaio  delivering a left footed shot from close range  in the lower left corner.  In the 50th minute Marco Di Vaio delivering a right footed shot  blasting Parma goalkeeper in the lower  right corner.

Guys, forward Vincenzo Iaquinta who came as a substitute  for Amauri in the 45th minute, opens the score for Juve with a left footed sot from a difficult position and  immediately the celebration by removing his jersey to roar  like a lion hitting his chest and showing the fans how much he cares for  Juventus.  All players surround  Iaquinta.

: In the 14th minute Roma captain Francesco Totti blasting Sampdoria goalkeeper Marco Storari with a left footed shot in the lower right corner after an assist by Mirko Vucinic. Totti standing firm with his classic celebration  ....  and the uproar in the Olimpico to root their Roman gladiator.... Totti....

Hey, hey, hey, wow, there you go...party time now for Sampdoria!!! Yep, In the 52nd minute, a cross byCassano from the left to Pazzini  ready in the spot to  head the ballfrom close range blasting Roma goalkeeper Julio Sergio in the bottom right corner.  In the 85th minute, Paaziniiiiiiiii goooalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll what a goal, what a killer  shot from close range like a  push delivering a right footed shot while slipping but blasting Roma goalkeeper Julio Sergio..... and this is totally an OLEEEEEEEEEEEEEe for Pazzini killing the bull... Mazzini from the left and there it was Pazzini shattering Roma dream.... but it is not over there are 3 more games...
