 Countdown... after this week there are only 5 more games to end the 2009 - 2010 Italy Serie A Season. The race for the Scudetto still among 3 teams:
    New leader of the Italian Serie A this week is AS ROMA with 68 points, followed by  FC Inter 67 points, and AC Milan 64 points.   

  First surprise of the week with Fiorentina stopping Inter ending the match with a draw.  AS Roma taking   the lead of the Serie A   defeating  Atalanta and AC Milan  failing to defeat Catania and ends with a draw. 

Regarding the race for the 4th position, Palermo  and Sampdoria  with 54 points each.  Juventus still dreaming the 4th position with this  victory against Cagliari and only 3 points away from Palermo and Sampdoria.   Napoli remain with 49 points losing at  home see their chances for the Champions League disappearing. 

Moving farther from the relegation area are Udinese and Lazio.  In the relegation area Atalanta 31 points, Siena 29 and Livorno with 26 points, heavily contested by Livorno fans .

Napoli 2 - 3 Parma - In the 3rd minute.  A cross by Lavezzi and there you go Quagliarella with aright footed shot from the center of the area blasting Parma goalkeeper Mirante in the lower  right corner.  It's the 9th goal of the season from Qua Qua Qua Quaglirella9Immediately, Quagliarella celebrating  with  Lavezzi and raising his hands towards the fans.  Close up from giants Napoli flags. In the 63rd minute, an assist by Hernan Crespo almost alone and making asoft pass  to Luca Antonelli while Napoli defender Hugo Campagnaro  fails to  clear danger and hello is not that Antonelli was going to  waste the chance and there you go bam bam bam goooall.  Parma is taking the lead in less than 5 minutes!  Alessando Lucarelli  heading a goal in he 68th minute following a corner conceded by Napoli Salvatore Aronica.

Fiorentina 2 - 2 Inter- In the  11th minute, there you go, a combo  play between Riccardo Montolivo to Gianluca Comotto immediately making a cross to forward Keirrison just pushing the ball with a right footed shot l to send Fiorentina fans in  extasis.  In the 74th minute an assist by Maicon  to Diego Milito  making a right footed shot from close range and beating Fiorentina goalkeeper  in theenter...   It's the 19th goal of the season  for Milito. In the 81st minute,  in counter attack and there you go goooooaalllll an assist by Mario Balotelli  to Samuel Eto'o becoming he hero  after  delivering  a right footed shot  fro the center beating goalkeeper Frey  in the bottom left corner. Say what?  You wont' believe it guys... In the 82nd minute, Fiorentina equalizing with Per Kroldrup after the assist  in a funny way from the chest by Cesare Natali and not wasting time from close range Kroldrup delivering a right footed.

Sampdoria- Genoa, In  the 23rd mintue a super goal by Antonio Cassano after a long rangeshot from Angelo Palombo towards Lucchini heading the ball to findAntonio Cassano closer to the post to head the ball sending  Sampdoriafans in delirium wih flares and all players  congratulating Cassano...close up from fans jumping, showing a big banner  for Cassano.

  Bologna  2 - 3 Lazio, In the 12th minute, an assist by Francesco Modesto to Roberto Guana making a right footed shot blasting Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera in the top left corner. Four minutes later, in the 16th minute, Bologna increasing the score with a headed goal by Daniele Portanova. Lazio shortening the distance in the 44th minute with the assist by ALeksandar Kolarov to Stefano Mauri making a left footed shot from the center all the way to the  top right corner.  Hope for Lazio. Hey, hey, hey, things get better in the 63rd minute with a remarkable comeback  from Lazio. Yep... Andre Dias equalizes the score from close range sending the ball all the way to the bottom right corner. A nightmare  for Bologna, but Lazio believing in the miracle for salvation.  Cowabunga... Lazio in the 68th minute taking the lead with the goal by captain Tommaso Rocchi and the total explosion of joy for Lazio fans who feel their salvation near.  Lazio now ready for the "Derby della Capitale next week and face AS Roma the new leaders of the Serie A.

  Juventus 1 - 0 Cagliari, In the 35th minute, an assist by Amauri to defender Giorgio Chiellini heading the ball from the center to put Juventus ahead and  seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  An iportant victory for the morale of the team.

  AS Livorno 0 - 2 Udinese, Things not looking bright for Livorno. In the 8th minute, an assist by Mauricio Isla to forward Alexis Sanchez running fast to deliver a left  footed shot blasting Livorno goalkeeper Rubinho remaining on the ground. Definitely it is the kingdom from Udinese forward Antonio  "TOTO" Di Natale keeping the leadership of the  Serie A top scorers by delivering his 23rd  goal of the season in the 35th minute.  An assist by Simone Pepe and bam bam bam Di Natale making a left footed shot blasting Livorno goalkeeper in the bottom right corner.

  AC Milan 2  - 2 Catania,  In the 12th minute, surprise, surprise Catania taking the lead. An assist by Adrian Ricchiuti to Maxi Lopez coming from the right side almost unmarked while Giuseppe Favalli and Luca Antonini run to stop him but not a chance.  Lopez with a right footed shot  blasts Milan goalkeeper Dida despite his stretch in the bottom left corner. In the 43rd minute, a very cold shower for AC Milan fans.... San Siro silenced when Catania score the second goal.  Yep.. you better believe it... Catania dominating Milan and the one creating all the magic is Maxi Lopez.  Lopez this time serves an assist towards Adrian Ricchiuti  running so fast just to shoot the ball blasting a shocked goalkeeper Dida.  In the 47th minute, AC Milan shortening the distance with a brilliant  trio game... Andrea Pirlo with a long range cross to Clarence Seedorf who makes the headed  pass to Marco Borriello heading the ball toshorten the distance blasting Catania goalkeeper Andujar from closerange in the top right corner. Joy from Milan fans but not an exuberant celebration from Borriello.

  Palermo 3 - 1 Chievo Verona, In the 18th minute, Chievo open the score following a fast break with Marcos De Puala blasting Palermo goalkeeper Sirigu with a left footed shot in the bottom right corner. In the 28th minute, an assist by Fabio Liverani finds midfielder Javier Pastore to head the ball from the center of the box blasting Chievo goalkeeper in the top right corner. Pastore double checking to see the goal and then celebrate!  In the 38th minute, Referee Andrea Gervasoni gives a penalty to Palermo conceded by Manuel Iori for a foul on Fabio Liverani.  Taking the penalty spot is Palemro Captain Fabrizio Miccoli. Wow, Miccoli with all the prayers from Palemro fans in the Barbera  prepares and then bammmmmmmmmm a right footed shot blasting Chievo goalkeeper in the top left corner.

  AS Roma 2 - 1 Atalanta, In the 12th minute, it is AS Roma forward Mirko Vucinic  to open the score with a long range right footed shot from outside the box blasting Atalanta goalkeeper in the bottom right corner.  Oopsss guys, Consigli  not holding the ball and directly to goal... a papera!  In the 27th minute, an assist by captain Francesco Totti  to Marco Cassetti  heading the ball from the center of the box where Consigli could not block.  Shortening the distance for Atalanta is Simone Tiribocchi in the 53rd minute with a right footed shot blasting Roma goalkeeper in the bottom right corner.  A victory that puts Roma as new leader of the Italian Serie A.
