 The race for the Scudetto still among 3 teams: FC Inter 66 points, AS Roma 65 points,and AC Milan 62 points.  I am so excited with the final weeks of the Italian Serie A and seeing how the Race for the Scudetto is an open battle between Inter, AS Roma and AC Milan.    Guys, there are no Serie A games on Sunday for Easter celebrations.  

Regarding the race for the 4th position, Palermo now sharing the spot with Sampdoria having 51 points each followed by Napoli 49 points and Juventus 48 points.  In the relegation area Atalanta 31 points, Siena and Livorno with 26 points each.

  FC Inter  3  - 0 Bologna: In the 29th minute, Inter takes the lead with the right footed shot from Thiago Motta blasting Bologna goalkeeper in the bottom right corner. Motta celebrating by kissing his jersey showing the fans his joy....  In the 52nd minute, it is Inter forward Mario Balotelli to increase the score. An assist by Diego Milito following a fast break in a diagonal shot while Salvatore Lanna cannot clear and leaving enough space toBalotelli to make a right footed shot blasting Bologna goalkeeper in the center of the goal...

 AS  Bari 0 - 1 AS Roma: In the 19th minute, an assist by Luca Toni to forward Mirko Vucinic to deliver his right footed shot coming from the center of the box and them bam bam bam blasting Bari goalkeeper Gillet in the bottom right corner.  Vucinic celebrating like crazy running towards the camera for a close up.... an important goal....

Match stats 3% ball possession AS Bari and 61% ball possession AS Roma.

  Atalanta 2 - 0 AC Siena: In the 16th minute, you could see from the bench Atalanta captain Cristiano Doni celebrating the goal by his teammates. An assist by Simone Tiribocchi to Jaime Valdes delivering a right footed shot seeming to hit the post and despite the super stretch from Siena goalkeeper the ball going inside in the bottom left corner.

  Lazio 1 - 1 Napoli: Lazio taking the lead in the 4th minute after the assist by StefanoMauri to forward Sergio Floccari without hesitating and heading the ballfrom the center of the box blasting Napoli goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctisin the top right corner.  In the 38th minute, Napoli equalize the score with an assist by Fabio Quagliarella to midfielder Marek Hamsik blasting Lazio goalkeeper Muslera with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner.

  Cagliari 2 - 3  AC Milan: In the 7th minute, an excellent triangular combo having the final assist by Clarence Seedorf to forward Marco Borriello coming from the center making a right footed shot blasting Cagliari goalkeeper Federico Marchetti in the bottom left corner.  In the 17th minute, Cagliari equalizes with the goal by Daniele Ragatzu after the assist by Daniele Conti. Ragatzu makes a right footed shot blasting AC Milan goalkeeper Dida in the top right corner. Oh well... guess what? what!!! Just 2 minutes later, in the 19th minute, AC Milan takes the lead again!  An assist by Captain Massimo Ambrossini towards forward Klaas Jan Huntelaar super concentrated and with a left footed shot blasting Cagliari goalkeeper in the top left corner.....    Is it a scrambled egg???? Guys, what a mess between Marchetti and his teammate defender Astori... they crashed, lacking communication and Astori while clearing instead makes an own goal.. mamma miaaaaaaaaaaa

  Genoa 1 - 1 AS Livorno: In the 51st minute an assist by Giandomenico Mesto to Richmond Boakye delivering a right footed shot blasting Livorno goalkeeper in the top left corner.   In the 88th minute, an assist by Diniz then Danilevicius heading the ball, and forward Francesco Tavano finding the ball to equalize the score with a right foooted shot from close range... 

Match stats 54% ball possession Genoa and 46% ball possession Livorno.


  Parma 1 - 1 Fiorentina: In the 68th minute, Parma opening the score following a corner with forward Valeri Bojiov blasting Fiorentina goalkeeper Frey with a left footed shot in the bottom right corner.  Three minutes after, in the 71st minute, Fiorentina forward Alberto Gilardino equalizes after the assist by Mario Santana.  Gilardino blasting Parma goalkeeper in the bottom right corner from close range.

  Chievo 1 - 2 Sampdoria
: Wow, talking about the fastest goal this week!  Imagine, just in the 1st minute and Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano opening the score! Yep! An assist by Stefano Guberti driving Chievo defense crazy not able to control the ball and Cassano sees his golden moment to score from close range and bammmmmmmm there you go Chievo Verona goalkeeper defeated in the center. In the 76th minute, Mantovani shortening the distance.

  Catania 2- 0 Palermo: Catania are hypnotizing Palermo's defense! Yep.. believe it or not.  First goal an error by Palermo defense. Hum? Well, in the 14th minute, Catania forward totally energized by the constant chants from the fans and in a duel with Palermo defender Goian takes the ball away creating space to deliver a diagonal right footed shot from the center  blasting Palermo goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu in the bottom left corner. The joy from Catania fans chanting the name of "LOPEZ, LOPEZ, LOPEZ"...  Oops... in the 32nd minute, it is Maxi Lopez again!! It's an Argentinian tango connection between Jorge Martinez making the assist and Lopez killing the bull with a right footed shot this time from close range... nothing to do for Sirigu who is so upset with his teammates.....

  Udinese 3 - 0 Juventus: In the 9th minute, Udinese taking the lead and looking for salvation.  Udinese forward coming from the right side to deliver a right footed shot blasting Juventus goalkeeper in the bottom right corner. Sanchez immediately removes his jersey to celebrate his goal and gets a yellow card.  In the 65th minute, there you have asecond goal for Udinese following a fast break. Yep... Simone Pepeblasting Juventus goalkeeper Manninger after he made a stop but on therebound there it was Pepe to smash the ball with a right footed shot inthe bottom left corner.  Simone celebrating  and Udinese fans at theFriuli just on paradise seeing their players conquering these important 3points to keep them away from relegation while Juventus collapsing.

In the 77th minute, just adding a cherry to the top of the ice cream isUdinese forward Antonio Di Natale not only blasting Juventus goalkeeperHandanovic, but also passing 3 Juventus players to really mega blastHandanovic with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner after theassist by Mauricio Isla. Wow, this is the 22nd goal of the season fromDi Natale and rocking all alone as the top scorer of the Serie A.
