Two ongoing surveys:
- Who will win the 2009 - 2010 ItalySerie A Scudetto?
- Who will be the TWELFTH Coach to be Sacked in the 2009 -2010 Italian Serie A Season?

FC INTER - BOLOGNA (before thematch)
Giuseppe Meazza Stadium
Serie AStanding: FC Inter 1st position, 63points
Bologna 15th position, 35 points
Inter is surviving and winning despite all the "Balotelli" talk and his not convocation from Inter coach Jose Mourinho. True, Inter is still the sole leader of the Serie A table, but slowly losing important points with the collection of draws. Inter and AS Roma have only 1 point difference. Yep. It means Inter must defeat Bologna to keep the leadership despite the result from Roma.
Bologna will go the Meazza "technically armed" trying to defeat maybe a tired Inter after the Wednesday's match of the Champions League quarterfinals against CSKA Moscow.
Top scorer for Inter this season is forward Diego Milito with 18 goals while for Bologna is forward Adailton with 10 goals. Guys, there is only sad news on a personal level for great Inter captain Javier Zanetti missing for the first time a Serie A game after 136 consecutive games because he is suspended for this game!!!!
There are 3 suspended players from INTER: Javier Zanetti, Maicon, and Samuel Eto'o Two players carrying one yellow card: Wesley Sneijder and Cristian Chivu.
Two of Inter key players for this game are forward Diego Milito and midfielder Dejan Stankovic. Milito motivated after scoring the only and winning goal against CSKA Moscow in the Champions league game. Stankovic the creator in the midfielder and the menace for the opponent.

There is only 1 suspended player from BOLOGNA: Mudingayi. Three players carrying one yellow card: Portanova, Modesto, and Guana.
Here is the probable formation from FC INTER (4-3-12): Julio Cesar, Cordoba, Materazzi, Walter Samuel, Cristian Chivu, Dejan Stankovic, Esteban Cambiasso, Thiago Motta, Sneijder, Diego Milito and Goran Pandev.
Here is the probable formation from BOLOGNA (4-4-1-1): Viviano, Raggi, Portanova, Britos, Lanna, Antonio Busce', Mingazzini, Guana, Modesto, Adailton Martins, and Marco Di Vaio
Anna Italia Prediction: DRAW
CAGLIARI - AC MILAN (before thematch)
Sant'Elia Stadium
Serie AStanding: AS Roma 3rd position, 60points
Cagliari 12th position, 40 points
It's a win or win for AC Milan or resigned to be "the third beauty dancer," and allow the final dance for the Scudetto between Inter and AS Roma.
Milan will have to face a desperate Cagliari in need of a victory, not that they will be seating to let Milan win and keep the race for the Scudetto. AS Cagliari coach Massimiliano Allegri said, “Let's think about Milan” - After the1-1 against Sampdoria, “Now we're preparing for our next matches, starting fromthe one against Milan.”
About the referee, the assigned referee is Christian Brighi. There are 8 precedents with Milan, resulting in 1 victory for the Rossoneri, 5draws, and 2 defeats. Against Cagliari, Brighi has 12 precedents: 6 victories for Cagliari, 3 draws and 3 defeats.
One suspended player, Nenè, and four players carrying a yellow card:Agostini, Canini, Conti e Jeda. The Rossoneri have a suspended player,Mathieu Flamini and three players carrying a yellow card: Pirlo, Seedorfand Thiago Silva.
Good news for Milan is the return from suspension from Ronaldinho Gaucho. Top scorer for Cagliari is forward Alessandro Matri and for AC Milan is forward Alexandre Pato with 12 goals. However, Pato is out for injury.
There is 1 suspended player from CAGLIARI: Nene'. Three players carrying one yellow card: Daniele Conti, Jeda, and Agostini.

Olimpico di Roma Stadium
SerieA Standing: Lazio 16th position, 33 points
Napoli 5th position, 48 points
Napoli are only 3 points away from Palermo holding the 4th position with 51 points. A victory against Lazio and hoping Catania defeat Palermo will put Napoli closer to the coveted post. Although, goal difference would be for Palermo with 8 positive goals while Napoli having 5 up to Week 31.
Top scorer for Lazio is forward Julio Cruz with 4 goals while for Napoli is midfielder Marek Hamsik with 10 goals.
Lazio seeming on the redemption road and fighting for salvation. A defeat will be a step back. If Udinese defeat Juventus and Lazio lose this game they will fall to the 17th position and the agony will restart with only 6 more games after....

CATANIA- PALERMO (before the match)
Angelo Massimino Stadium
SerieA Standing: Catania 14th position, 35 points
Palermo 4th position, 51 points
It's the Sicilian Derby with an added motivation for Palermo than just having the bragging right to rule Sicily. It's the historical moment for Palermo to keep the 4th position and the dream to be in the Champions League next season. There are only 7 more games and following closely are Sampdoria and Juventus with 48 points each. Catania would need 5 or 6 points to consider themselves saved.
Bad news for Catania because coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is suspended for this match after the decision of the Sporting Judge following the Serie A Week 31 match.
Palermo having a test game with a local team to see the condition of the players ending with Palermo winning 5-0. Scoring Miccoli, Migliaccio, Kjaer, Nocerino and Hernandez. Training on Thursday is closed door. Hello, Catania also having a "closed door training" to avoid any leak... Mihajlovic testing different techniques and formations to see the winner one to conquer the bragging rights for Sicily since he won't be seated on the bench to direct the match, special instructions to assistant coach.. Catania have been practicing ball possession from 5 and 15 minutes. Mihajlovic will give his press conference on Friday.
Will Palermo coach Delio Rossi deliver the winning formation and defeat Catania at the Massimino? Truly, Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini giving his full support to Rossi and the squad to build up the road towards the Champions League... wow, I am expecting a super match from Palermo players Cavani, Miccoli, and Pastore and for Catania my top shot is Giuseppe Mascara and hello also Maxi Lopez.

As midfielder Fabio Liverani said on a press conference, "there are only 7 remaining games and if we make a mistake we won't have time to recover. The derby is a special match for the different emotions. A victory at the Masssimino will give an important push towards the final objective. We are preparing 110% to conquer the qualification for the Champions League. Our public is involved, present, and the fans closer to the team."

By the way guys, in the Nike Running program there is a challenge for PALERMO vs CATANIA, and so far Catania is winning... I am running for Palermo and have run so far 135 miles (up to April 1) since joining this "Running Sicilian Derby Palermo vs Catania"
Having said that, there are 2 suspended players for CATANIA: Augustyn and Delvecchio. Six players are carrying a yellow card: Mascara, Andujar, Biagianti, Silvestre, Ricchiuti, Giuseppe Mascara, and Lopez.
There is 1 suspended for PALERMO: Carrozzieri. Four players carrying one yellow card: Cesare Bovo, Blasi, Mark Bresciano, and Goian.

Here is the probable formation for PALERMO (4-3-1-2): Salvatore Sirigu, Cassani, Goian, Simon Kjaer, Federico Balzaretti, Migliaccio, Liverani, Antonio Nocerino, Javier Pastore, Fabrizio Micoli, and Edison Cavani.
The motto for Catania right now is "to continue dreaming together"... so wow, will it a sweet dream or a nightmare at the Massimino Stadium this Saturday?
