Gosh, guys, closeups from each Fiorentina player while listening to the Champions League match.  My bet is on Juan Manuel Vargas and Alberto Gilardino.  We have to win this match.

Referee Mallenco whistles the beginning of the match.   It's showtime ... come on... 

Guys, the support from Fiorentina fans is super!  You can hear the loud chants and thousands of Fiorentina flags waving like a well orchestrated tribune to motivate the players.  It is intimidating for Bayern as fans whistle so loud when they have the ball.

It's too windy and this is causing some problems....

In the 2nd minute Felipe commits a foul on Robben, and hellooooo .. it's no time to make unnecessary fouls .... we need to avoid yellow cards....

Oh my gosh, guys,  in the 6th minute, Fiorentina midfielder  Juan Manuel "EL LOCO" Vargas with a chance to score with a direct free kick from about 40 yards but sends the ball too high...

Come on Fiorentina, guys, in the 8th minute, there is another attempt by Cristiano Zanetti... though missing it....

Oopss a bad head clash between Muller and Per Kroldrup in the 10th minute while trying to get the ball.... they are on the ground... no, Muller is standing now,,, Kroldrup a bit dizzy... match continues and both players remain in the field.

In the 14th minute, a clear and present danger from Bayern Munich!!!  Robben finding his way to the byline checking up for available teammate and see Gomez... panic in the area but Fiorentina  battling bravely and clearing.....  so closeeeeee   fans are increasing their chants encouraging the squad.

In the 22nd minute, first yellow card of the match is for Bayern Munich Schweinsteiger for a foul, hello, hitting on the face will running

Oh my gosh what an error!!! Guys, in the 27th minute, it is Marchionni to start the whole action with a long range  shot  while Bayern Munich goalkeeper Butt saves but cannot keep the ball, on the rebound running like crazy side by side with van Buyten, Vargas manages from a difficult position to bam bam bam blast Butt!   The immense joy for Vargas, the teammates, the fans and you could see those Fiorentina flags waving proudly, now the aggregate is 2-2.

Oops.. guys, in the 30th minute, a forced substitution for Bayern Munich because  Mario Gomez cannot continue for injury and barely walking by himself... limping..  He was receiving medical treatment earlier ..

Awesome the way Vargas is playing with all the inspiration from the fans!  Geeee  another free kick in the 31st mintue and this time missing the target

In the 34th minute it is Super FREYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY guys, Robben creating danger with his headed ball after the assist by Schweinsteiger... Frey on time to send the ball over the bar... 
 
Oh well, I am wondering about the referee....  hum?? In the 38th minute Marchionni ends on the ground after being challenged by Schweinsteiger...
 
In the 39th minute, Referee Mallenco gives a yellow card to Fiorentina Per Kroldrup.

Come on Fiorentina. oh nooooo, I am telling you guys, I am not very happy so far with the referee...  in the 42nd minute Alaba commits a foul on Marchionni and no card?????? 

Oh my gosh, Miroslav Klose almost scoring in the very last minute of the first half after diving to head the ball.. luckily missing the target!!!!!  

First half over with 35% ball possession Fiorentina and 65% ball possession Bayern Munich...

Second half starts...

Awesome, guys, Juan Manuel Vargas with an early goal opportunity in the 49th minute but either the wind is against Fiorentina or in favor.. this time  Vargas misses the target, but good effort..

oh noooooo guys...  I can't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  In the 50th minute, Gilardino in front of the goal having enough time to score but slips on his effort to shoot and missing this golden moment... and Butt clears...

Redemption time!!!! Guys, in the 54th minute a super backheeled pass from Gilardino to Stevan Jovetic running to blast with a right footed shot Bayern Munich goalkeper Butt in the lower left corner.... and now it is a reality..  Fiorentina seeing the  dream come true... they can  pass to the next round.  We have to defend now and close spaces not to give  any game to Bayern....

oh noooooooooooooooooooooo this is not possible, just one minute after and a crash!!!! Guys, in the 65th minute, Bayern Munich Arjen Robben blasting Fiorentina goalkeeper Sebastien Frey with a powerful shot.. and we are now in deep trouble..

In the 76th minute,  Gilardino scoring but hello it is ruled out  for offside...  come on Gila, let's keep trying.

In the 78th minute, Referee Mellunco gives a yellow card to Felipe  

Immediately, Bayern creating danger with Robben in the area of Fiorentina and almost blewing it.. we don't need more goals and don't know why la viola is conceding much space to Bayern either.  Frey punches the ball away..... Robben is moving so freely and wondering where is the defense to mark him...

oh no, what is Prandelli doing???? hello... in the 82nd minute.... later and substitution JUAN MANUEL VARGASSSSSSSSSSSSSs.. i can't believe it... Vargas does not seem injured or tired. and boy, you can tell he is the best of the match and the one creating goal opportunities.   I have a headache now!!!!.
