 I want to wish each one of my readers a Happy New Year.  May all your good wishes
become a reality in 2010. Most of all, my prayers and a toast for a healthy, peaceful,
and prosperous year.

It's been a wonderful 2009 with ups and downs. We are in good health and sharing
our soccer passion defending our teams.

Enjoy the last day of 2009 and the first day of 2010..... cheers...

Auld Lang Syne is an Old Scottish song that is translated as "Old Long Since" which loosely means:
"Days Gone By" or "Long Time Ago". Written as a poem in 1788 by Robert Burns.  Now, it is usually recognized as
the song to celebrate New Year....

The movie "Waterloo Bridge" features the song Auld Lang Syne as "The Farewell Waltz" which can be seen at
the end of the video.  Vivien Leigh and Robert Taylor play love interests during the War.
