It's the last match of the 2009 and AS Roma midfielder asked Roma fans to be in the stadium to support them... he expects around 60,000 fans...
I am watching the match on RAI ITALIA with my cup of coffee... prepare your snacks.
Wow, there it is ex Roma defender Christian Panucci playing against his ex team.. wow, that must be a bit painful for Panucci now playing for Parma. Panucci played for Roma from 2001- 2009 making 311 appearances and scoring 29 goals.
Also the ex Parma midfielder Matteo Brighi who played for Parma from 2002 to 2004 making 21 appearances and scoring 1 goal.
Here is the official starting eleven formation for AS ROMA by coach Claudio Ranieri:
AS ROMA (4-2-3-1): Julio Sergio, Juan, Nicolas Burdisso, John Arne Riise, Marco Cassetti, David Pizarro, Daniele De Rossi, Francesco Totti, Matteo Brighi, Mirko Vucinic and Jeremy Menez.

In the second half, immediately Roma taking the lead in the 48th minute after Parma forward trying to clear a dangerous ball following a corner makes an unintentional back heel pass finding Roma defender Nicolas Burdisso not wasting the opportunity at all.. Hello, Burdisso with a right footed shot blasts Parma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante in the bottom right corner.
AS Roma 1 - 0 Parma

AS Roma defender Nicolas Burdisso celebrating his goal against Parma.
Guys, this result so far puts Roma in the 4th position.... Roma is back in the battle to be among the top 4 teams.
wow, wow, wow.. talking about the ex Roma defender Christian Panucci.. guys, in the 51st minute Referee Paolo Tagliavento gives a yellow card to Captain Francesco Totti for protesting. Hello, Panucci clearly holding back Totti pushing him away and Totti is mad and protests toward the referee and instead gets the yellow card.

Four minutes later, in the 55th minute, Roma again creating danger when forward Mirko Vucinic sends a cross to Daniele De Rossi who is offside....
Destiny... imagine it is the ex Parma midfileder Matteo Brighi to write the words "THE END" of the match. In the 90th minute an assist by Mirko Vucinic to Brighi making a right footed shot to blast Parma goalkeeper in the top right corner.. well, in case you are guessing if Brighi celebrated the goal.. yes he did. An important victory for Roma'
AS Roma 2 - 0 Parma
Roma now takes the 4th position and is only 2 points away from Juventus who lost today against Catania. Roma might dream to reach the 3rd position.... good job.'
