AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso extends his contract with AC Milan until June 30, 2012 ending all rumors of leaving Milan as reported by Milan Official website on Monday, December 14, 2009. Gattuso made his debut with AC Milan on September 18, 1999 during the game AC Milan 1 - 1 AS Bari. I am personally happy with this news and allow me to make a toast for Gattuso. Hip hip hurrah!

I totally agree the signing of the contract arriving in a good moment to warms the hearts of AC Milan fans after all the insecurities and doubts "because certain loves are stronger normal perplexities."
As reported by Milan, Rino arrived at Milan in 1999 and did not leave anymore. Sometimes perhaps he has gotten a bit angry, but he's always managed to go beyond. Today, ten years later, at almost 32 years of age, he is a mature man, father of two children, he's a champion who has seen and experienced a lot, between numerous infinite joys (an incredible series of victories) and a few difficult moments. Everything was always overcome thanks to the affection of the fans and of a club which recognises him as a symbol and emblem of its determination and which has more than once assigned him the captain's armband. 'One of us, Rino', president Silvio Berlusconi repeated to him a few days ago, hoping that the midfielder would stay at Milan. 'One of us,' is also the chant dedicated to him by his stadium, a week ago, during Milan-Sampdoria. 'Think about healing and then we'll see,' Leonardo advised him during all the recent press conferences when asked about the player. 'I hope he stays,' Adriano Galliani often repeated, and his feelings were echoed by pretty much all of Milanello.
Now, when it looks like he is returning to the group and feeling much better, the big small question has a sweet answer: Rino remains at Milan, for this and at least two more seasons.
Past, present, and future: Gattuso and Milan have lived, live and will live everything together.
