Are you ready for the match?  I AM!!!!

Can Palermo cause an upset?
The only time Palermo defeated Milan in San Siro was on October 22, 2006 with goals from Mark Bresciano in the 48th minute and Amauri in the 74th minute.

Will Milan continue alive the race for the Scudetto with FC Inter by defeating Palermo?  We will find out......

I will watch the match on RAI ITALIA with my cup of cappuccino since it is at 6:00 a.m. my time....

Here is the official starting eleven formation for AC MILAN by coach Leonardo:

AC MILAN:
1 Dida, 10 Clarence Seedorf, 13 Alessandro Nesta, 15 Gianluca Zambrotta, 19 Giuseppe Favalli, 20  Ignazio Abate, 21 Andrea Pirlo, 22 Borriello, 23Ambrosini (cap.), 77 Luca Antonini, 80 Ronaldinho.

Here is the official starting eleven formation for PALERMO by coach Delio Rossi:

PALERMO:
46 Sirigu, 5 Bovo, 7 Edison Cavani, 9 Nocerino, 10 Fabrizio Miccoli (cap.), 11Liverani, 16 Cassani, 23 Mark Bresciano, 24 Simon Kjaer, 30 Fabio Simplicio, 42Federico Balzaretti.

I am ready.Players making their entrance, closeups from Seedorf, Ronaldinho... news is that Leonardo decides to keep Pato on the bench when he was a regular in the starting line up.

Captain Massimo Ambrosini and Captain Fabrizio Miccoli shaking hands and exchanging Scudetti....

Referee Bergonzi whistles the beginning of the match and it is showtime while AC Milan fans wave giants Milan flags.

Guys, it must be cold because most players are playing with black gloves.

Uffaaaaa Palermo starting the match with pressing and already challenging Dida twice in less than 3 minutes!!!!!

Imagine in the 3rd minute, Palermo forward Edison Cavani with a right footed shot knocking at the door waking up Dida and luckily the ball goes wide....

Antonio Nocerino with a right footed shot after an assist by Liverani challenging Dida and misses the target......

In the 4th minute,  Mark Bresciano with a powerful right shooted shot from the distance forcing Dida to punch the ball away with both hands....

Nocerino clears a dangerous ball from AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf in front of the goal....

Milan is finally finding some space.

In the 8th minute, First corner of the match and Andrea Pirlo taking the spot. finding Ronaldinho trying a rovesciata but falls on the ground and Palermo counterattacks.

Miccoli with a right footed shot trying a direct shot and misses the target.

Simplicio wiht a long range shot to Miccoli with a super run but at the end  losing the ball.

Ronaldinho and Palermo defender Simon Kjaer clearing in front of the goal.

In the 11th minute, Cassani commits a foul on Ronaldinho and free kick for AC Milan. Taking the free kick is Andrea Pirlo, the barrier Miccoli and Nocerino... oh well... a right footed shot from Pirlo and goes a bit high...

Oh my gosh.... guys, in the 17th minute, Ronaldinho making a beautiful , precise assist towards Clarence Seedorf and missing his left footed shot from the left side.... so close for Milan....

MILAN-PALERMO: PASSAGGIO DI SEEDORF

Let me tell you that Palermo is constantly pressing not afraid at all of the devil... il diavolo rossonero.... determination from Palermo is obvious... they are coming for the 3 points... Milan must adjust their strategy.....

In the 19th minute, corner for Palermo and Simon Kjaer in the area but not making it to blast Dida because Milan defense clears.....

In the 25th minute, Corner for Milan conceded by Cesare Bovo, Pirlo taking the spot and Balzaretti clearing the danger...

In the 27th minute Clarence Seedorf commits a foul on Nocerino...

In the 29th minute, Oh my gosh this was a clear chance for Palermo to open the score after an assist from forward Edison Cavani to Mark Bresciano and incredible but Bresciano with a right footed shot  missing the target just by inches to the right... Surely, coach Delio Rossi studied the Rossoneri very well because they are constantly pressing and not giving much space to Milan.

Uuuufaaa in the 33rd minute Seedorf to Zambrotta and another wasted chance.....

Hey, hey, hey... in the 34th minute, Ronaldinho is rocking making good assists but the final action not converting goals yet.  Guy... amazing Ronaldinho making a right footed assist to Marco Borriello having the chance to open the score with a left  footed shot and let me take the centimeter because it was so closeeeeeeeeeeee

.
Ronaldinho in the 40th minute making an assist to Ignazio Abate who cannot make it on time to head well the ball.

Gee, Palermo with another chance in the 41st minute with Fabrizio Miccoli from a direct free kick but hitting the wall.

In the 43rd minute, Seedorf making an assist to Borriello though his left footed shot is blocked and Palermo clearing all dangers.  It is a good match.

Last attempt for Milan in the 44th minute with Ronaldinho becoming every time "Mr. Assistman" sendig a pass to Borriello and Palermo goalkeeper Sirigu anticipating...

Cavani after Giusppe Favalli... and Referee Bergonzi whistles the end of the first half with 62% ball possession for AC Milan and 38% ball possession Palermo. Hum??? It seems it was more even.... Palermo played a very good first half not giving Milan time to play their game...  let's see what happens in the second half.  Guys, it is time to bring young forward Pato, dont' you think?  Milan needs to add speed.....

Second half starts with Palermo taking the lead!!!!  In the 49th minute, an assist by midfielder Mark Bresciano to Fabrizio Miccoli blasting AC Milan goalkeeper Dida with a right footed shot  coming from the left side in the bottom right corner. Wow, Dida has nothing to do but just lament this goal while Miccoli runs towards the section of Palermo fans to celebrate the goal making an "army salute"  .... cold shower in San Siro.

Wow, guys, AC Milan Leonardo reacts and makes a substitution in the 50th minute, Ignazio Abate out, Alexandre Pato in. This is a good move because speed and fresh energies is what Milan needs.

In the 58th minute an assist by Massimo Ambrosini to Marco Borriello  heading teh ball from the center and no luck because Palermo goalkeeper Sirigu saves in the bottom right corner.

In the 60th minute, Palermo making a substitution for injury... Fabio Simplicio cannot continue and replacing him is Javier Pastore.

Mamma mialllll Miccoli to Pastore then to Bresciano fre  while  Abrosini and PIrlo  cannot clear the danter and guess what? what!!!!! Its' a goalllllllllllllllllllllll by Palermo midfielder Mark Bresciano with a right footed shot giving another dose of cold shower to the Milanisti blasting goalkeeper Dida in the top right corner while celebrating with this living Statuesque pose....

MILAN-PALERMO: PATO IN AZIONE

In the 70th minute, AC Milan coach Leonardo makes a substitution. Clarence Seedorf  out, Filippo Inzaghi in

Milan trying to react with Ronaldinho seeming the one man show not finding support and in the 71st minute cleared by Simon Kjaer... Milan running against the clock...

Oh my gosh... in the 75th minute, Ronaldinho to Ambrosini and then passing to Pippo Inzaghi heading the ball only to find Palermo goalkeeper Sirigu making a save in the bottom right corner... Inzaghi cannot believe it.... and neither do I.. this was the best chance to shorten the distance.

In the 77th minute, Leonardo makes another substitution, Massimo Ambrosini out, Mathieu Flamini in.

Guys, Atalanta equalizes the score with Simone Tiribocchi  making a 1 -1 with Inter....

In the 87th minute, it is almost like a one man show for Milan with Ronaldinho not finding enough support.. trying a right footed sho but blocked... Palermo not conceding space... three more minutes.... and will be a historic victory for Palermo....

In the 90th minute Palermo makes a substitution. Edison Cavani out, Dorian Goian in.
