Here are the declarations from AC Milan coach Leonardo on the eve of the 2009 - 2010 UEFA Champions League match FC ZURICH - AC MILAN on Tuesday, December 8, 2009.
"I'm happy for Antonini, his is a nice story, he has gained
something extra since the start of the season.
Tomorrow's match? It
will depend exclusively on us, we are doing something positive and we
mustn't think of anything else, I'm referring to Marseille's result. We
have to maintain our level of play, each match has its own story, also
psychologically. Zurich know us well, they found great motivation at
San Siro and it will be like that tomorrow as well; it remains a
Champions League match.
Lately we have started games well and this is
what we need to do tomorrow too. We have a mature team, they have
experienced important moments in the past, now we have to right
conviction and awareness to do well. Our objective is of course to win.
Ronaldinho? We still have to verify his conditions, but we're
optimistic, he has a good chance to play. I've been a coach for a short
time, so I consider each game very important, only in the end we will
evaluate what we have done this season. With many changes available
things in our playing method haven't changed, we haven't changed our
way of being on the pitch.
Abate and Antonini have given positive responses, the full backs don't just have to defend, they have to be alternatives in the offensive play, now they have confirmed they are part of our initial project."

AC MILAN Defender Luca Antonini talked about tomorrow's match as follows:
"I'm happy, it's the third time I'm playing in this stadium, I played here with Empoli and Milan in the Uefa Cup. But tomorrow for me will be a big emotion because if the coach decides to play me it will be my Champions League debut. We are motivated, we want to play a great match and close the qualification issue, we know how to face this match."
