Mission was to win the match.. well, Mission Accomplished for AC Milan keeping the race for the Scudetto alive having only 7 points difference with Inter.  Milan  will wait for the result of Juventus - Inter to see where they stand.Sampdoria needs to win to keep in the Champions League zone for next season.

Get set for this match. I will be watching on RAI ITALIA but instead of popping some popcorn I will have fresh slices of fruits to keep the keyboard clean while typing the post LOL.

Here is the official starting eleven formation for AC MILAN by coach Leonardo:

AC MILAN:  Dida; Luca Antonini, Alessandro Nesta, Thiago Silva, Gianluca Zambrotta; Andrea Pirlo, Massimo Ambrosini;  Clarence Seedorf; Pato, Marco Borriello, Ronaldinho.

Surprise guys because Leonardo opted for Borriello and leaving Klaas Jan Huntelaar in the substitutes.

Here is the official starting eleven formation for SAMPDORIA by coach Gigi Del Neri:

SAMPDORIA: Castellazzi; Stankevicius, Gastaldello, Accardi, Ziegler; Padalino, Tissone, Poli, Mannini; Pazzini, Cassano.

It's a tough test for both teams. Sampdoria without their captain Angelo Palombo because he is suspended for this match.

Wonder whether AC Milan forward Klaas Jan Huntelaar will continue scoring... what about the Sampdoria duo??? Pazzziniiii

We are ready guys, players are making their entrance in San Siro and  I am happily watching the match on RAI ITALIA.  Are you watching?

Giants AC Milan flags in San Siro waving from right to left, from left to right.

The two captains embrace before the match, Massimo Ambrosini and for Sampdoria captain today is Antonio Cassano.

Close up now from coach Gigi Del Neri and Giampaolo Pazzini.  Now close up from Leonardo.

Just awesome, Referee Rocchi whistles the beginning of the match. It's showtime!!!

Oh my gosh, it is really party time guys because not even when I was grabbing my cup of coffee when Milan takes the lead!  Yep, in the 2nd minute, Ronaldinho running making a precise cross towards forward Marco Borriello heading the ball from close to blast Sampdoria goalkeeper Castellazzi in the bottom left corner. Wow, this is an early goal.  Borriello has scored now .

Ronaldinho is rocking...

In the 5th minute, Pato making a solo run and Sampdoria goalkeeper anticipates the ball to deny Pato the joy of celebrating a goal. So it is corner.

It's so far a Ronaldinho show guys! In the 9th minute coming from the left side so close to score the second goal for Milan but at the end goes over the crossbar.

Oops in the 10th minute there you go and clear and present danger with Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano after an assist by Andrea Poli tries a right footed shot and lady luck moving away because the ball  is too high and wide to the right.  Cassano cannot believe it and at the same time Milan fans whistling Cassano.

Sampdoria  rushing to equalize and in the 13th minuteforward Giampaolo Pazzini missing the target shooting too high after anassist by Reto Ziegler.

Match delay for injury in the 18th minute because Pietro Accardi is on the ground...

Say what???  In the 21st minute, what a delight and guys let me jump and to a cheerleading for Ronaldinho. Hey, you just won't believe it but the beauty of this assist is awesome.   Ronaldinho coming from the left side has time to pause and observe better making a right footed cross to Clarence Seedorf who just blast Sampdoria goalkeeper Castellazzi in the upper left corner.. a blast!!!!!
AC Milan 2 - 0 Sampdoria

Wow, wow, wow, somebody stop the bleeding because two minutes later it is SAMBA TIME IN SAN SIRO.  In the 23rd minute, it is Pato to blast the net and party gets louder in San Siro with the Rossoneri celebrating this rocambolesco party time. Sampdoria needs to realize that the match is already on.... set the alarm clock.....

Oh my gosh, I cannot believe it guys!  In the 34th minute Leonardo is making the first substitution and Ronaldinho is out!!!!  Hum??? I don't see him injured, so it might be he want to give him resting time maybe for the Champions League game?  Taking his place is midfielder Ignazio Abate.  Ronaldinho leaves the field among a standing ovation. Hey, so let me stand up too and applaud Ronaldinho.. forza...

Mamma mia, guys, in the 37th minute, a beautiful assist from Abate to Pato and when I was ready to shout a goal boomm.. it just disappeared.... Pato missing this clear chance in front of Sampdoria goalkeeper saving...

Uffa.. again... in the 38th minute, an assist by Andrea Pirlo to Pato and missing the target...  come on Pato, let's keep trying...

In the 39th minute, Referee Rocchi gives a yellow card to Fernando Tissone for a foul on Milan defender Luca Antonini...

In the 44th minute, an assist by Clarence Seedorf to the Sleepy Prince Pirlo though Sampdoria's defense cleared the danger....

Milan continues pressing and Sampdoria not finding their way out...

The Sampdoria duo "Cassano - Pazzini" not being able to unblock Milan's defense...

First half over.. and let's see what happens in the second half.  Milan had 68% ball possession and 32% ball possession Sampdoria.

Half time now and go grab some snacks to enjoy the second half......

Players are now making their entrance and hey, guess who is also watching the match in San Siro?  who?  Hello, hello, AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi!!!!! Yep!  There is a close up from Galliani and Berlusconi in the tunnel with the players when they were making their entrance.... you bet Berlusconi must be happy.... hey, talking about being happy... I can go ballroom dancing tonight!!!!!!

Close up from Alessandro Nesta and Pirlo in the tunnel... I love NESTAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Close up from Huntelaar who might be playing few minutes in this second half...

Hello... what a foul !!! In the 38th minute, guys, Stefano Lucchini making a bad foul on AC Milan midfielder Ignazio Abate on the right wing side.... and Referee Rocchi gives the yellow card to Lucchini..

In the 51st minute, Abate commits a foul on Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano... free kick.
oh well... wasted chance..and guys I am really surprised seeing this Sampdoria!!!!  They need to react ... Milan is practically making a passeggiatttttaaaaaa.... they are rocking in San Siro..

Second substitution for Sampdoria in the 52nd minute, Marco Padalino out, Franco Semioli in.

In the 56th minute, Sampdoria reacting and so close to open the score when Cassano managed to make the assist to Reto Ziegler and guess what? what!! Well, Milan clearsssss

Hum.. come on Seedorf, cool down bro.  In the 57th minute, Referee Rocchi gives a yellow card to Seedorf for a foul on Reto Ziegler...

Sampdoria is awakening and just about time.. in the 60th minute a long range assist by Fernando Tissone though Antonio Cassano is offside... hey, it seems Sampdoria finally finding a space to cause problem.

Not a chance, Milan continue pressing.... close up from Berlusconi and Galliani watching the game from the Tribune.  Hey, too bad Berlusconi arrived late and missed the 3 goals...... so come on Milan, let's score one goal for il cavaliere..

Mamma mia .. guys, in the 64th minute,  Pato had his chance to score and what a save from Sampdoria goalkeeper Castellazziiiiiiiii  wow...

Milan is bombarding Sampdoria...

In the 65th minute, midfielder Andrea Pirlo with a long range assist to Abate but he is offside.

In the 68th minute, Milan making a substitution. Marco Borriello out, Klass Jan Huntelaar in. Well done Borriello.... and Huntelaar welcome by the applause from Milan fans after his good show last week scoring 2 goals...

In the 70th minute, Antonio Cassano in action and finds his buddy Giampaolo Pazzini to create danger but AC Milan goalkeeper Dida no problem... he saves.... but falling on the ground...

Oh my gosh.. Referee Rocchi giving a well deserved yellow card to Sampdoria Marius Stankevicius for a bad foul on Alexandre Pato bringing him down...

There you go... in the 76th minute.... the third substitution for Milan. Massimo Ambrosini out, Mathieu Flamini in.
Simultaneously, Sampdoria also making a substitution. Giampaolo Pazzini out, Bellucci in.

Let's keep the one way show....  close up from an upset Pazzini and you could say he is not happy neither with the substitution and the result. Curiously, now a close up from Borriello also on the bench but with the opposite look full of joy and relaxing after scoring the first goal....

In the 81st minute, awesome run by AC Milan defender Thiago Silva clearing the danger when Antonio Cassano was getting closer to the area ...

There is Antonio Cassano making a fast run but there are no Sampdoria players in the area to get the assist.. hello, Sampdoria needs to speed up.. this was a great run from Cassano...

A pass, pass....from Cassano to Claudio Bellucci, now to Fernando Tissone and making a weak right footed shot goes directly to the arms of AC Milan goalkeeper Dida.... Milan now counter attacks...

Close up from AC Milan goalkeeper Marco Storari on the bench... my heart went  OOPPSSSSSS...  Though right now Dida is having a good performance and not a chance to take his position.... unless Leoanardo start making turnovers...

Five more minutes and game will be over....

UFFAAAAA  in the 87th minute,I can't believe it.. an assist by Huntelaar to Seedorf having the chance to score the fourth goal and missing the target with a right footed shot...

Two minutes extra time.....

MIlan continue the pressing...

Mamma mia, awesome.. guys, in the 91st minute, Pato making a fast run bringing first the ball down with the chest and goalkeeper Castellazzi making another save.....

That's it... Milan winning and now you bet all Milan fans will be watching the Derby D'Italia to root for Juventus and shortening the distance with Inter to 4 points.

Close up now from a happy Silvio Berlusconi applauding his team from the tribune alongside Adriano Galliani.....  match over.. I was expecting at least a goal by Sampdoria...

What can we say? Oh well, it's time to bring the cheerleaders for AC Milan winning convincingly and dominating the match.  Bring them onnnnnnnnnn
