Lazio is eliminated from the Europa League. Not a good sign for Lazio who will be facing the Derby della Capitale against AS Roma on Sunday.

First half ends 0 -0 with 50% ball possession for Salzburg and 50% ball possession for Lazio. First half with lots of nervousness from Lazio including goalkeeper Fernando Muslera getting a yellow card in the 32nd minute. Salzburg forward Janko tyring to score while Muslera saves, there is the foul by Janko on Muslera ending on the ground but the reaction from Muslera is what landed him the yellow card when provoking Janko.. I was like "calm down Muslera!!!!"
Second half starts with a substitution from Lazio in the 45th minute. Eliseu out, Mourad Meghni in.
In the 52nd minute it its Salzburg to open the score. Rabiu Afolabi blasting Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera with a header in the upper right corner.
In the 57th minute, Pasquale Foggia equalizing the score with a left footed shot in the lower right corner.
This is crazy while Zarate still protesting with the linesman the match continuing and bam bam bam you have the second goal by Salzburg!!!!! In the78th minute, Muslera anticipating the ball leaving the net for Somen Tchoyi to blast the goal with a right footed shot in the lower left corner ...
What a big disappointment for Lazio who were trying to revert their latest negative results. It's a major blow to the morale of the team... eliminated from the Europa League.
The disappointment is clear... Mauri, Captain Tommaso Rocchi and goalkeper Fernando Muslera.... saying good bye to the Europa League...
