Hello my friends. Champions League is over and we have to post now our predictions for the Italian Serie A Week 14.  I will be brief because it's THANKSGIVING DAY here in the United States and I am celebrating with my family.  So, I wanted to say also THANK YOU to all of you my readers, and visitors too for being part of my life, my virtual family too.   I will have to prepare my baked turkey as I love cooking for my family. I am so blessed and enjoy life so much. Thanksgiving is an every day gesture, but today, it's a holiday to give thanks.  I will make a toast for you guys.

                    

 Here is my PREVIEW of the Italian Serie A Week 14 - Fourteenth Round scheduled Saturday, November 28 and November 29, 2009.  Still, the sole leader is FC INTER with 32 points followed by Juventus with 27 points.

Juventus returning from France after losing their Matchday 5 UEFA Champions League game against Bordeaux will have to pick up the pieces of puzzle and start afresh.  Juventus still can make it to the round of 16 but now will have to wait until Matchday 6 to see if they make it or not. Until then, Juventus now must face Cagliari and keep the race for the scudetto alive with Inter the sole leader of the Serie A.  There are only 5 points difference between Inter and Juve.  

A victory against Juventus is a must for Juve because next week they will be playing against INTER!  Yep! That match, my friend, will be a real battle and you make sure to watch the game.

Here is the situation with Cagliari.  Numbers are in favor for Juventus having a total of 66 games  with Juve winning 27, 26 draws, and Cagliari winning only 13.

Siena having a new coach Alberto Malesani after youth team coach Marco Baroni who replaced Marco Giampaolo was called  to take over..  Well, Baroni went back to the youth team and new coach is Malesani.  Siena is in the rock bottom of the Serie A with only 6 points!  Ouch.

Making his debut with Plaermo is ex Lazio coach Delio Rossi after the sacking of Walter Zenga. Chievo Verona defender Mario Yepes is suspended for this match.

INTER - FIORENTINA

                                           Fiorentina- 6th place, 21 points

Whether inter win, lose, or draw they will continue to be the sole leader of the Serie A this week because they are 5 points ahead of Juventus holding the second place.  Problem for Inter is the big slap suffered after being defeated by Barcelona in Camp Nou for the Champions League matchday 5. 

Maicon and Lucio are suspended for this match.  Mourinho still with his public declarations not happy with the way the team is playing.  Not to even mention the tension with Mario Balotelli.

Fiorentina traveling to the Meazza with a huge smile and singing all the way from Florence to Milan after qualifying to the last 16 of the Champions League. Yep!  Fiorentina made it... it is the only Italian team qualified so far while Inter, Juve, and AC Milan will wait to know about their qualification until the last match...

Here is the probable formation for FC INTERNAZIONALE: Sebastien Frey, Comotto, Dainelli, Kroldrup, Gobbi, Riccardo Montolivo, Cristiano Zanetti, Marchionni, Santana, Juan Manuel Vargas, and Alberto Gilardino.

                                           AC Milan- 3rd place, 25 points

Catania coach Atzori might be playing his last game if losing at home.  AC Milan although not losing the Champions League match against Marseillle in San Siro will have to revamp and bring home the 3 points if wanting to be in the privilege 3 teams with higher hope to battle for the Scudetto.

Here is the probable formation for CATANIA:Andujar, Silvestre, Terlizzi, Spolli, Alvarez, Biagianti, Carboni, Llama, Capuano, Giuseppe Mascara and Takayuki Morimoto.

Here is the probable formatio for AC MILAN: Dida, Massimo Oddo, Alessandro Nesta, Thiago Silva, Gianluca Zambrotta, Ignazio Abate, Massimo Ambrosini, Clarence Seedorf, Pato, Marco Borriello and Ronaldinho.

AC Milan missing a key player for this match because midfielder Andrea Pirlo is supended and Filippo Inzaghi cautioned.  For Catania, meanwhile, no suspended players and four players within a booking of suspension: Andujar, Carboni, Delvecchio and Pesce.

Napoli defender Leandro Rinaudo is suspended for this match. Actually, Rinaudo got a 3 match suspension along Lazio forward Julio Cruz after their  match in San Paolo for the Serie A Week 13.

                                           Bologna- 16th place, 12 points

Here is another difficult situation as Lazio coach Davide Ballardini risks being sacked since almost a month!  Lazio fans still not forgiving the bad performance of the team in this season condemning everybody including Management, coach, and players...  pressure is intense for Lazio.

Lazio formward Julio Cruz is suspended for 3 games, so he is missing this match.
