Good morning my friends.  Here I am  ready with my cup of coffee and my laptop to  update on the Italian National Team.  It's Thursday, November 12 and the third day training of the Azzurri preparing for the 2 
friendly games against Netherlands and Sweden to be ready for the 2010 World Cup South Africa.. Training today is not in the Borghesiana but in L'Aquilla which is the area affected by the earthquake on April 6, 2009.

Italy head coach Marcello Lippi and the Italian National team visited today the new town  of Bazzano with new housings.  It is part of the efforts from the Azzurri to support the victims and bring a moment of joy.  It is a special day for L'Aquilla welcoming the National team  with the big board from the stadium where the team is training.  Also, there is also  in exhibition the wordl Cup trophy .

Italy Captain Fabio Cannavaro  identifying with the  pain of the victims as he was also a victim of an earthquake in the 80's.

Italy National Soccer Team visit to the Earthquake Striken Areas In L\'Aquila

h. 8.45   Departure in pullman to L'Aquila / Partenza in bus per L’Aquila
h.10.30 Arrival and transfer to the Fattori Stadium for training open to the media. After training departure from the stadium to visit the zone affected by the earthquake. After the visit, lunch in the Centro DI COMA.


-  Fans meeting since 8:30  in front of the stadium  to welcome their favorite players of the Italian National team. 

- Among the most applauded were Lippi and goalkeeper Gigi Buffon. Imagine the joy of the fans when Buffon taking time for almost every photo.

- Lippi insisting in the 4-3-3 formation.

- Training starting at 10:45 and lasted a bit over 1 hour.
