Andiamo - Love, From Italy (2007) ![]() In the spirit of artists such as Andrea Bocelli and Il Divo, these three Italian tenors take traditional songs from their native country and update them with new arrangements. - Lippi tested the tridente formation. Giampaolo Pazzini and Riccardo Montolivo participating in the second day training after stopping yesterday for small physical problems.
- The 4-3-3 in the midfield Andrea Pirlo, Angelo Palombo, and Candreva; in the attack Mauro Camoranesi, Alberto Gilardino and Raffaele Palladino. The alternative group with midfielders Biondini, Riccardo Montolivo and Daniele Galloppa; in the attack Marchionni, Giampaolo Pazzini and Antonio Di Natale.

Let me tell you that the report from RAI SPORT by Carlo Nesti really surprised me with his hypothesis on the possible formation going to the 2010 World Cup South Africa. According to Nesti the 11 selected players would be:
Gianluigi Buffon, Gianluca Zambrotta, Fabio Cannavaro, Giorgio Chiellini, Fabio Grosso, Andrea Pirlo, Daniele De Rossi, Mauro Camoranesi, Francesco Totti, Mario Balotelli, and Amauri.
Wow, wow, wow. I had to replay the news to make sure whether I heard the names Totti, Balotelli and Amauri right... and yes... indeed Carlo Nesti mentioned them. I was like "wow, let me swallow this news...." From the three it is most likely the incorporation of Amauri ... Balotelli, hum? He has not even played yet and with inconsistency and temper.... Totti? did not he retire already? Plus suffering injuries.... Anyway, Amauri is not at his best and is not that he is the saviour and pressure could backfire on him....
I am wondering what about Pazzini, Giuseppe Rossi, Quagliarella, Iaquinta, Gilardino who had been training and playing with the Nazionale.. don't they have a chance to be in the starting eleven? hum?
Bottom line, chances for Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano to be among the called up players for the World Cup seems more a 'wishful thinking."
Italy and AC Milan defender Gianluca Zambrotta declarations

The Italian National team visiting "L'Aquilla" the affected area from the earthquake.
"It will be an important day for us and the national team in L'Aquila, we've never been there and it's right to also show how Italians help. Us Italians are able to distinguish ourselves through solidarity. I am a testimonial of the Lega Calcio for the fight against multiple sclerosis and I am the first to want to help when people suffer."
"Lippi has left the doors open to the possible integration of those players who had not participated in the qualification games. Totti has been very important for us. I don't know what he wants to do, but I dont' even know what Lippi wants to do either. I can say that our group in ready to welcome anyone."
Regarding a possible return from AC Milan defender Alessandro Nesta, Zambrotta commented, " I just know that Nesta is playing a good championship, though at the end it is the "Mister" to evaluate the players who are doing well."
Here is the thing guys, Nesta already declared that he retired and that he wants to play only for the club. Nesta is conscious about all the injuries he has endured and not feeling ready to give his best for both. Guys, it makes sense, don't you think? Well, let me retract myself... if at the end Nesta continues playing well and strong without injuries, he could join the squad. Nesta is one of the best defenders and as Zambrotta said he is having a great season.
Italy and Parma midfielder Daniele Galloppa

Regarding the declarations from Inter coach that most of the youngsters today are spoiled and that they think more on the money and Ferrari, Galloppa who is 24 years old said that it is not necessary to generalize. "It is wrong to generalize. However, the attack from Mourinho is also well founded. I have seen many young players losing perspective if they are not with their feet on the ground. They feel themselves already great footballers and think only about the car and having so much money on the pocket. However, not all younger players have this mentality."
