Good morning my friends!   It is a crazy week because we finished the Serie A Week 9 on Sunday, now  3 days later on Wednesday, October 28 we have the Serie A Week 10 and then on Sunday we will Serie A Week 11.  Mamma mia..... so I will barely have time to prepare a full preview.

Here is my PREVIEW of the Italian Serie A Week 10 - Tenth Round scheduled for Wednesday, October 28 and Thursday, October 29, 2009.  Sole leader of the Serie A this week is FC Inter with 22 points followed by Sampdoria with 20 points.

In the relegation area an almost unexpected surprise when LIVORNO who were in the last position and sacking coach Ruotolo plus having new coach Serse Cosmi managed to cause a huge upset when defeating AS Roma in the Olimpico di Roma Stadium!  Yep! You are reading right, the Roman gladiators beaten, defeated in their own home stadium when they were supposed to win... So, Livorno start climbing slowly the Serie A Table now in the 19th position.

Napoli and AC Milan are finally having positive results.  The sacking of coach Roberto Donadoni and bringing coach Walter Mazzarri proving to be a turning point for Napoli.  Mazzari made his debut with a victory and continue winning after defeating Fiorentina in the Artemio Franchi.  The boost of the morale is high as Napoli won this away game after over 360 days!!!  Fiorentina 0  - 1 Napoli

Here is where the race for the Scudetto will be unblocked....  why?  well, let me tell you.  Inter is the sole leader with 22 points, Sampdoria has 20 points only 2 points way from Inter while Juventus with 18 points are ready to do super jump to pass Sampdoria.

Inter will play against Palermo in the Giuseppe Meazza. You bet Juventus and Sampdoria fans will be rooting for Palermo to defeat or draw with Inter to shorten the distances.   If Sampdoria defeats Juventus and Palermo defeat Inter then the new leader of the Serie A Table will be Sampdoria with 23 points. 

Bad news for Juventus is forward Vincenzo iaquinta injuring.  Hey, hey, hey, guys, expect to see Italy head coach Marcello Lippi in the tribune watching the match as there are many Juventus players in the Nazionale. The big question will be whether Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano's performance will convince Lippi to give him a chance to be with the national team.  Same situation is for Sampdoria forward Giampaolo Pazzini.  Rumors that Juventus forward Amauri might be called up for the Italian National team while leaving Cassano out is creating discomfort among fans.

So, it is a battle between Juventus and Italy goalkeeper Gigi Buffon against the "duo meraviglia Cassano - Pazini."

Advantage for Juventus the great moment from Brazilian duo Amauri and Diego.  Diego making a difference in the midfield and pushing the team giving them speed and Amauri returning to score again.

Oh my gosh!!!!!  The mission for the ex Inter goalkeeper and now coach of Palermo Walter Zenga is to embark on what many see "an Impossible Mission" which is to defeat Inter in the Meazza.

On paper everything is in favor of Inter but as we have learned in football nothing is taken for granted.  Can the Palermo duo forwards Edison Cavani and Fabrizio Miccoli break Inter's defense????   Wow, not to mention even on whether Palermo goalkeeper can't stop the furia from Inter forward Samuel Eto'o....
