By Anna Italia
Covering the 2009 - 2010 UEFA Champions League from an Italian Perspective
Italian Soccer Serie A  supports all 4 Serie A clubs participating: FC Inter, AC Milan, FC Juventus, and Fiorentina

Excellent news for our Italian football, a great Wednesday with AC Milan and FC Juventus winning their respective games.  Yep!  AC Milan defeated Real Madrid with ex Milan symbol Musica and Magia KAKA thanks to 2 powerful shots from young forward Alexandre Pato and the brilliant goal from almost 35 yards from midfielder Alexandre Pato.
REAL MADRID 2 - 3 AC MILAN Goals by Raul and Andrea Pirlo and Pato

FC Juventus defeated Maccabi Haifa in the Olimpico Stadium with a a headed goal by defender Giorgio Chiellini.  It was a good Wednesday. plus our ex AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti won with Chelsea too
.  FC JUVENTUS 1 - 0 MACCABI HAIFA Goal by Giorgio Chiellini

A sweet and sour result on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 for 2 of our Italian Serie A Clubs in the Champions League.  FC Inter ends in the 4th position from Group Stage F with only 3 points after a draw in the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium for Matchday 3
Inter Milan 2 - 2 Dynamo Kyiv

Good news is for Fiorentina winning their Matchday 3 in an away game with a brace from forward Adrian Mutu, Alberto Gilardino and Mario Santana. Fiorentina is in the second position of Group E with 6 points.
Debrecen 3 - 4 Fiorentina
