Ranieri is a Romanista born in Rome on October 20, 1951. You bet Ranieri is super happy because not only he started his career as a footballer with Roma in 1973 making 6 appearances until 1974, but now he is returning as COACH.

Ranieri met with AS Roma President Rosella Sensi and the signing of the contract will be tomorrow.
The confirmation made by attorney Mattia Grassani to the Italian news agency ANSA "There is the agreement, the signing will be tomorrow for 2 years."
Ranieri said in a telephone interview to ANSA that for him "it is a great satisfaction, most of all crowing his dream. I am honored and convinced to do well and give my best for Roma."
