Third coach to be sacked on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 is AS Livorno coach Gennaro Ruotolo. Though Ruotolo was the "de facto coach."  Ruotolo sacked after Livorno  failed to keep a victory against Palermo in Week 8 when they were  winning but also because they are in the 20th position with only 3points, scoring only 2 goals, conceding 10 goals and a negative goal  difference of -8.

Second coach to be sacked in the 2009 - 2010 Italian Serie A season is Napoli Coach Roberto Donadoni on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 and replaced by coach Walter Mazzarri. AS Roma coach Spalletti resigns becoming the first coach of this season  to leave a club on September 1, 2009, while Atalanta coach Angelo  Gregucci was sacked on September 21 and replaced by Antonio Conte.  Hence,Donadoni is the second coach to be sacked.

The first coach to be sacked  is Atalanta coach Angelo Gregucci on September 21, 2009 after 4consecutive defeats and replaced by ex AS Bari coach Antonio Conte.

The first coach to RESIGN in the 2009 - 2010 Italian Serie A Season is AS Roma coach Luciano Spalletti on Tuesday, September 1, 2009.  Spalletti is replaced by Coach Claudio Ranieri.

Hereis the list of the 20 coaches to be battling among each other in theItalian Serie A 2009 - 2010.  Whether we like it or not, somebody willbe sacked first...  Just take a guess and predict who will be the THIRD coach to be sacked or resign and why....

This season we are improving because nobody was sacked after the first week of the championship. Remember last season that  the first coach to be sacked was  Palermo coach Stefano Colantuono  after only 1 match Udinese 3 - 1 Palermo on Sunday, August 31, 2008.
