Good news for the Roman gladiators!!!!  Ok, it is a friendly and Grosseto not a big team. Yet, hello, are you kidding me with nly few days before the Serie A Kickoff every victory is a boost to the morale of a team.  Plus, guys, the news that Roma Captain Francesco Totti underwent medical test for problems on his right leg was worrying Roma fans.  According to Roma official website, Totti's condition will be evaluated in the next days.

This is why this victory against Grosseto is a good news.  Roma practically played with the "B" lineup without  Doni, Andreolli, Philippe Mexes, Juan, Riise, Motta, Simone Perrotta, Cicinho, Mirko Vucinic, Julio Baptista and Francesco Totti.  Still, the Roman gladiators managed to win with a 2 -0, awesome and good for goalkeepe Artur to gain more confidence. 

Playing to get back in shape were my top guy Daniele De Rossi, Cerci and French forward Jeremy Menez who was supposed to transfer already somewhere....  good Menez is still with Roma because they need back up while Vucinic and Totti recover...  don't you think?   

First goal in the 45th minute, an assist by Cerchi from the right finding the head of defender Marco Cassetti to blast Grossetto goalkeeper Caparco.  Second goal in the 75th minute with a cross from Pit from the left to Brazilian midfielder Rodrigo Taddei and bam bam awesome... celebration for the goal!!!!

I feel happy with this victory guys...  hey, but the biggest surprise was to see Portuguese defender Antunes playing all 90 minutes!  You bet Monica08 will be happy with the news.....
