Let's be clear guys, Napoli did not have 6 of their main players for this international friendly game against Racing Santander. The 6 absent players who are called up with their respective national teams for the international friendlies on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 are Ezequiel Lavezzi, Marek Hamsik, Walter Gargano, Jesus Datolo, Juan Camilo Zuniga, and Erwin Hoffer Is this an excuse for the draw? It depends... I think Napoli should have won at home, and you?

Match starting with a minute of silence honoring the memory of Espanyol Captain and Defender Dani Jarque and both teams wearing a white t-shirt with the name of Jarque and his number 21. Jarque who played his last friendly match against Napoli passed away in Coverciano on Saturday, August 8, 2009.

Opening the score is Napoli forward Bogliacino in the 57th minute from about 20 meters blasting Racing Santander goalkeeper Toño.
In the 73rd minute, Racing Santander equalizes the score. Imagine that Canales and Juanjo who substituted Serrano and Munitis two minutes earlier, were the ones creating the equalizer goal! Canales making the assist to Juanjo who despite slipping blasts Napoli goalkeeper Navarro.
Guys, Napoli coach Roberto Donadoni seems super worried for the not so satisfied performance of the team in the San Paolo in front of the fans... reportedly, this time, there were not that many fans in the stadium as compared to the 40,000 who attended the first friendly game in the San Paolo against Espanyol. One thing is certain that Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentis won't be that happy with this draw.
Well, let's put it this way, guys. At least Napoli with the "B" did not lose the game but got a draw.
