Here are the updates based on the trainings by Italy Head Coach Marcello Lippi in Coverciano:

-  On the eve of the friendly game Switzerland - Italy, Lippi hints on choosing a 4-4-2 formation instead of insisting on the 4-3-3  formation.  Lippi says that Italy will play with 2 forward not 3.

- Most likely the two young footballers Genoa defender Domenico Criscito and Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio will make their debut with the Italian National team.

- I love how Lippi says that Italy must start at the hightest level. 

- Lippi talks to the young players Criscito, Marchisio, Bocchetti and Santon telling them  that there is no more time to wait for their growth but they have to demonstrate to be old enough playing well with the Azzurri.  I love it!!!

- Lippi will continue using his "Berlin based squad" with the leadership of Juventus defender Fabio Cannavaro having the record of 127appearances with the Italian National team.

-  Lippi said that he promised before to use the Under 21 and has done so by calling up some of the youngsters from the U21.
