20 Players Called up by Coach Pierluigi Casiraghi for the Under 21 match against Russia

It's time to cheer for the Azzurrini!!! 

Guys, coach Pierluigi Casiraghi will present the new Under 21 team in the friendly match against Russia on August 12, 2009 in Russia.  Casiraghi called up twenty players with some new faces on the team coming mainly from the Under 20 team coached by Francesco Rocca, such as Mustacchio, Gentili and Tiboni.

Italy Under 21 Coach Pierluigi Casiraghi


As reported the the Italian Football Federation, the team will meet in Rome on Sunday, August 9 at 10:00 pm,  the A series players and on Monday at 10:30 am, the B series players playing the Tim Cup).  The Under team will reach Saint Petersburg later in the afternoon on Monday and on Tuesday, the 11th, the team trains at the Petrovsky stadium (5:00 pm local time, 3:00 pm Italian time). 

Here are the 20 called up players by Coach Pierluigi Casiraghi:

Goalkeepers: Fiorillo (Sampdoria), Seculin (Fiorentina);

Defenders: Ariaudo (Juventus), Brivio (Vicenza), De Silvestri (Lazio), Gentili (Varese), Ogbonna (Torino), Ranocchia (Bari), Rispoli (Brescia);

Midfielders: Barillà (Reggina), Bolzoni (Genoa), Mancosu (Empoli), Poli (Sampdoria), Signori (Sampdoria);

Forwards: Mario Balotelli (Inter), Di Gennaro (Milan), Macheda (Manchester United), Mustacchio (Sampdoria), Alberto Paloschi (Parma), Tiboni (Atalanta).
