Wow, guys,  it gave me a special feeling watching Italy and Juventus defender Fabio Cannavaro wearing Brazil Jersey after being eliminated with a goleada and playing so bad.  It was a feeling of "shame Itay" how could you were not  able to score even a single gol!!!!!!  The way Italy was eliminated ==admittedly or not --- was just SO EMBARRASSING  ITALY 0 - 3 BRAZIL !!!!!

Sure, Cannavaro made his 126th appearance with the Italian National team equaling the record of AC Milan defender Paolo Maldini, but with a terrible defeat.  
 
In the  interview  with Carlo Paris, Italy Captain and defender Fabio Cannavaro said that "we return home with 2 defeats and this is bad because we had come here to test some things and give experience to our young players.   Though, this Confederations should not make us lose our main objective which is the qualifications for the World Cup.  We have to rethink about ourselves, our characteristics. "

Regarding rinnovare, renovate the team, Cannavaro said that it depends on Italy Head Coach Marcello Lippi.

Guys, I totally disagree with Cannavaro's way of seeing the Confederations.  Hello, are you kidding me????  They went to the Confederations to test some things and also to give experience to the younger players?   WHAT A SHAMEFUL STRATEGY.  It's ok to give experience to the younger players when they are ready not before or keeping them only as warming up the bench when they are ready to play while the big guys fail to deliver. What about young defender Davide Santon not playing when he was in far better shape than many of the campioni? 

I wonder if Spain, Brazil, and USA went to the Confederations for the same purpose?  I DON'T THINK SO based on their performance. Spain is just rocking big time and giving their YOUNG PLAYERS a rich experience by testing them previously and playing as champions not as "mere testing pieces."

If Lippi wanted to try "new strategies, formation, and so on," did not he have the friendly games before the Confederations?  Why going to the Confederations as reigning World Cup champions to show a POOR ITALY?  Ma scherziamo ragazzi???? Are we kidding?  No, this approach is totally wrong.  You don't go to an international tournament to expose the young players if they are not ready and burn them before they even make their debut or have their first games with the Nazionale. 

Excuse me... but the Italy jersey deserves respect, honor and so our future players. Having said that.... BASTA, basta, basta, enough, enough, enough of this mediocrity and start acting as reigning World Cup champions once and for all not only for you BUT FOR THE COUNTRY AND THE FANS.  Your thoughts guys?  Since EURO 2008 Italy has not showed a consistent performance worth of a reigining "World Cup Champions, period"  I am so mad.... bring me some chamomile tea or let me start counting from 1 to 10 to calm down. 

Gee.... it is just U N B E L I E V A B L E.  Wake up Lippi because the clock is running.... clicking, clicking, clicking, clicking....
