Knock, knock, knock, anybody home????!!!!!!  Good morning my friends!  It's a lovely morning!!!!

Here I am with my cup of Cappuccino, protein shake, and fresh strawberries to talk about the victory of Italy against USA, latest transfer market including FC Inter Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Pato refusing to leave AC Milan, Napoli rebuilding the team, the victory of the Italian National team in the Confederations Cup and the controversial for the penalty given in the last minute to Brazil against Egypt.  Ouch!  So, let's get ready for our "Coffee Morning Newsreading." 

I will wait for you while you get your coffee, a juice or  simply grab a snack. Hey, by the way, where are my Palermitano commentator SMOKEY 66 and the protector of the Azzurrini, Nina????

Anna Italia Opinion:  Ok, guys, before I go on with the article, let me just jump one more time and should to my heart's content "FORZA ITALIAAAAAAAAAAAAA".... awesome!!!

Ok, now I am ready.  Gee, you have no idea how happy I am seeing the Italian National team changing their rhythm after Italy Head Coach Marcello Lippi made his substitutions with the younger players: Riccardo Montolivo, Giuseppe Rossi.  This is why I agree with the article that the younger players are knocking at the door of the NAZIONALE for a space and Lippi should open the door often to welcome them.

The headline about "ANOTHER ROSSI" making Italy win is in reference to the duo ROSSI: Giuseppe Rossi equalizing the score in the 58th minute, 2 minutes after he substituted Gennaro Gattuso in the 56th minute.

The BIM BAM BOOM comes in the 72nd minute when I had to cry, laugh, jump, sing, and do the cheerleading for the Roman gladiator Daniele De Rossi scoring the goal to give the lead to Italy!  What was the big deal of this goal?  HO HO HO!!!  It was a balsam for an open wound so much needed for De Rossi who remained with the bad experience and sadness after being sent out in the opegining game with USA in the 2006 World Cup and suspended for 4 games !

So, you bet the face of De Rossi celebrating that goal it was THE PLAIN DEFINITION OF SUPER JOY... a BIM BAM BOOM!!! His teammates were so happy for him and all this openly expressed. 

Italy in the second half, and I totally agree with the article, was a faster and daring team in contrast to the first half. The merit is for Italy forward Giuseppe Rossi --- who ironically was playing against the country where he was born --- gave much speed to the game. Italy was playing against 10 men after USA midfielder Clark was sent off  in the 34th minute for a bad foul on Gennaro Gattuso and still not able to score in the first half.

Bottom line, Italy is ready to battle and Lippi has the difficult option TO CHOOSE, REARRANGE his formation by daring to give more playing time to the youth while the experienced players fully recover to give their maximum.  By the way, I would love to see Fabio Quagliarella in the match against Egypt.

BRAZIL - EGYPT - Group B

Guys, here is a big protest because Egypt is not happy at all with the penalty granted to Brazil in the dying minutes.  Just by using the replay "la moviola" 

Egypt formally filed a protest for the decisive penalty  given to Brazil which resulted in KAKA conveting the penalty to give the victory to Brazil. The claim  presented to the FIFA argues that the penalty is not valid because it was granted after having watched the TV replay "la moviola." Originally, Referee Howard Webb gave only a corner along his assistant. Then, the referee changed his position after indications by his fourth man and consequently only in this moment sending off  Ahmed Al Muhamadi for deviating the shot from Pato with a handball.

Point is that Egypt coach Hassan Shehata after the match protested.  His point seems valid because he says that there was no rules in football that allow the use of the TV to make a decision, in other words "la moviola in campo."  He ended by saying that maybe they changed the rule and nobody told them about it. The final result was Brazil 4 - Egypt 3 after Kaka converted the penalty.

FC INTER Transfer Market

Headline: "Inter boom! Want Higuain and ask 50 million euros for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Blocks Ederson and ready for Toni.

Anna Italia Opinion:   Say what!!!!!!!!!!! How much Inter wants for Ibrahimovic???  ehem ehem ehem... 50 million euros!!!!  Well, guys, it seems it is en vogue to ask for mega salaries to follow the footsteps of Real Madrid talking about super million contracts!

Here is the situation according to the article. The 3 forwards being named in Spain for a mega contract are David Villa, Diego Forlan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.  Supposedly the deal between Real and Valencia for Villa is over as Barcelona wants also Villa. Forlan next option for Real Madrid a point commented by Real Madid while keeping the interest for Ibrahimovic. Supposedly, this is only a "business marketing pressing" to push  Valencia and expedite the transfer for Villa. Yet, it is also possible that Real Madrid could sign Ibrahimovic.  Problem, according to the article is that Moratti thinks Ibrahimovic is worth between 80-90 million euros and Real not willing to pay that much... maybe.

In case of exchanging, Inter wants Robben, Sneijder and Higuain. Inter could spend around 50 millions. The dream of Inter is to have the duo Higuain-Benzema. Yet, the first choice will beRobben to please Inter coach Jose Mourinho wanted to have Robben in Chelsea. , In third place, there is always Sneijder.

Point is that it is so much talk, rumors about Ibrahimovic leaving but Mourinho yesterday declared to TELE LOMBARDIA said, "I have not spoken to Ibra, the idea that he will remain in Inter is my personal convinction. After the brilliant season with us, I don't see why he could not been happier with us."  According to Mourinho no team will pay for Ibrahimovic the amount that Real Madrid paid for Cristiano Ronaldo.  BAMMMMMMMMMMMMM wow, guys, that was a major blow for Ibra.. in other words Ibra is no comparison to Cristiano?  Mourinho repeats his interests for Deco and Carvalho..... oh welll..so we will see what happens with Ibrah.... What do you think guys?  Is Ibra desperate to leave Inter or not?


Here is the other news guys.  BAYERN MUNICH forward LUCA TONI  might transfer to INTER!!!!  Though, this time not as the main forward as when President Moratti wanted to sign him while playing for Fiorentina. 

That time the offer was for 25 million euros, everything was ready... then BAMMMMMMMMMMM Calciopolis explodes!!!!  Fiorentina was penalized that year and could not participate in the Champions League. So, Diego Della Valle owner of Fiorentia asked Luca to stay one more year to help the team with the promise that he would let him go next season... Problem and disappointment was that Luca did not join Inter and neither received 25 million, but ended up with Bayern Munich for 11 millions... almost for a discount! 

Luca must think carefully before accepting the offer to join Inter because he is not being guaranteed the "starting position" or titolare but just another forward, maybe the third option..The top forward is Ibrahimovic if he remains or Benzema, then Diego Milito, Mario Balotelli... and only now... Luca... so, he better thinks twice.

AS ROMA transfer market:

Good news for Roma fans!!!  Captain Francesco Totti says he is ready to be with Roma until 2014!!!!! Awesome!

Lazio transfer marke

So many news here guys.  First... Davide Ballardini -ex Palermo Coach is the new coach of Lazio!. Ballardini signed a 2 year contract with an option for the third year.  Contract is worth 750,000 euros per season. 

It is said that Cristian Ledesma asked Lazio to let him go, despite his contract expiring until 2011. Ledesma wants to leave and reportedly won't use Article 17 to end his contract but wants to leave without arguments.   Lazio is also after Udinese D'Agostino who is the target for Juventus, yet nothing is finalized yet. 


Napoli transfer Market

Guys, Napoli is insisting to have goalkeeper De Sanctis and also thinking on Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale.  Wow, this will be a super BIM BAM BOOOOMMMMMMMMMM imagine having the UDINESE duo Quagliarella - Di Natale united again?  What will happen to Lavezzi, Denis, Zalayeta???? 

AC Milan transfer Market

Here is a good news for Milan fans!  Forward Alexandre Pato has put a stop to all rumors about other clubs wanting to sign him.  Pato who is right now with the Brazilian National team in the 2009 Confederations Cup said that HE LOVES MILAN and does not want to leave. 

Moreover, Pato said that he "wants to win everything with MILAN."  Hey, this is good news!  Don't you think?

Another good news is that DAVID BECKHAM declared that he sill wanted to retun to play for AC Milan even if Ancelotti was no longer the coach.  Though, right now, Beckham must return to the L.A. Galaxy.


FC Juventus transfer market

The rumor here is about D'Agostino going to Juventus.  The article also mentioning that if forward David Trezeguet leaves, Juventus has the option to get Rossi.   wow...... D'Agostino is also wanted by Lazio!!!!
