Robert Acquafresca was one of four scorers for Italy

Opening the score is FC Inter forward Mario Balotelli in the 13th minute from a direct free kick to start the Italian show time!   Just 9 minutes later, in the 22nd minute, Balotteli with an attempt to score when  Denmark goalkeeper Lossl failed to keep the ball and in the rebound there it is Cagaliari sensation striker Robert Acquafresca to blast the net from close range.. gee... I am just so happy for Acquafresca!!!!.

Third goal is by young Dessena who came in as a substitute for Marchisio in the 46th minute.  Imagine, just starting the second half and bammmmm in the 47th minute Dessena with a right footed shot blasts Denmark goalkeeper and by now guys, the party was just ALL AZZURROOOOOO...  3 goals.. and to add the final cherry on the Chocolate Sundae with extra chocolate and whipped cream is defender Andrea Ronocchia taking advantage of an error by Denmark goalkeeper in the 87th minute!!!

Excellent also the performance from  Marchisio, Luca Cigarini, and Paolo  De Ceglie, Motta and Domenico Criscito.

Young Paloschi substituted Mario Balotelli in the 59th minute and almost scored too.... though he slips somehow...

Bottom line, guys, the Azzurrini are rocking and with their confidence on cloud 9...  They are ready and so AM I TO CHEER FOR THEM AND WAVE MY ITALIAN FLAG, ARE YOU READY TOO????

Well, guys, it is a "testing poker" but what a poker!  Now, let's get ready for the first match in the 2009 UEFA European Under 21 Championship against Serbia.

I do! This team looks fantastic, perhaps the best team in Europe at this age group, although I haven't seen Spain's team yet.
