Get ready to cheer for the AZZURRINI!!!   Guys, it's time for the UEFA Under 21 European Championship Sweden 2009 and our Azzurrini need our support.   Italy have won the Championship 5 times, most recently in 2004 after beating Serbia and Montenegro 3-0 in Bochum. Championship will take place in Sweden from June 15 to June 29, 2009.

I am so happy to see our younger talented footballers growing and making an impact in Europe.

The players will meet on Wednesday, the 3rd, at the “La Borghesiana” sports center in Rome and in the afternoon, at 5:30 pm, will have their first training session, while on Friday, the 5th, at 5:00 pm, the team will take their official photo.

Before leaving for Sweden, the Under 21 team will stop in Denmark for the friendly match scheduled on Tuesday, June 9th, at 6:00 pm at the “Farum Park” stadium in Farum.
