Also, there is a partial official called up list of 13 players by Italian Head Coach Marcello Lippi for the FIFA Confdederations Cup South Africa 2009 taking place from June 14 to June 18, 2009.

Say what!!!! Boy, so many good news and sad news too.
As usual, the awaited called up for Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano is not a reality.. yet. Oh my gosh, a low blow not reading among the veterans the called up from FC Juventus forward Alessandro Del Piero!!!! oh come on... among the senatori we have his buddy Iaquinta and not Del Piero? Ok... calm down Anna, since it is the partial list maybe Lippi will call him after.. so I will be praying for Del Piero to be fit and ready.
On the other hand, guys, I am super happy to see Sampdoria forward Giampaolo Pazzini in the called up list!!! po po op po.
CASSANO "NO" and PAZZINI "ZI"
The good news is to see young FC Inter defender Davide Santon in the called up list for the friendly game against Northern Italy! Wow, that is so cool because Lippi will be testing younger players to start "creating the New Italy."
Though, wait, that is not all.. what really made my day was to see Cagliari goalkeeper Federico Marchetti in the called up list too! Wow, let me jump again and do a cartwheel .. just awesome for Marchetti. Guys, Italy saint goalkeeper Gigi Buffon has said many times that he considers Marchetti among the strongest candidates to be top goalkeepers. Hey, hey, hey, you bet I agree too!!!!
Guys, imagine to have a PADRINO like Gigi Buffon !!!! Wow.. you bet Marchetti is super happy to know that Buffon considers him as one of the best promises.
Good news continue with the called up of roaring lion AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso!!! wow, you bet we need the roaring motor and Gattuso must be desperate to RINGHIARE after being out for so many months out for injury.
Guys, all our SENATORI "the veterans" seem ready to pack their luggages for the Confdederations Cup . Lipppi confirmed 13 so far. Guys, the completed 23 called up players to participate in the Confdederations Cup South Africa 2009 will be informed to FIFA before the midnight of June 4, 2009.

Oh boy, I am so happy that I want to embrace everybody to wish them good luck.!!!!! Mamma mia, Lazio midfielder Pasquale Foggia also in, awesome!!!! Pellisier, awesome!!! Oh wow, guys, I am loving to see the vision of Lippi to test our younger "not so famous footballers" because they deserve a chance to prove their worth too. I hope they all put their best in the training and we get a revelation!!!! What do you think?

Ok, here we go with the PRO CASSANO campaign. Guys, but Cassano must do his part too and not make "cassanatas" I really hope to see him back with the Azzurri, and you? Of course, if Cassano does not control his bad temper, then, he can be left out. Though, right now, let's give him the benefit of the doubt and see his football techniques. SO...... this banner express my feeling.. but add also "DEL PIERO" and we are "a posto" LOL.
