The Serie A table is changing and last week the difference between Inter and AC Milan was 10 points, this week with the defeat of Inter the difference reduce to only 7 points. Yep! You are reading right....
Here is the thing guys. The Serie A table might change again if Lazio beat Inter and Milan beating Catania resulting in shortening the distance to 4 points! OUCH. Hey, don't panic Inter fans because this is only "a possible scenario." Yet, if Catania beat AC Milan and Juventus beat Lecce, hello, hello, hello... the second position will go back to Juventus!!!!! You see... this week so much going and you don't want to miss the whole action. I won't!
Having said that, here is my PREVIEW of the Italian Serie A Week 34 - Thirty Fourth Round on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3, 2009. I am providing the stats from the last 4 home and away games for each match.

Guys, Bologna and Reggina must be singing together the Beatles song "HELP!"
It's a match for salvation. The draw will not help any and most of all Reggina could practically wave good bye to the Serie A and prepare their trip to the Serie B if losing. Motivation for Reggina is high as they are coming to Bologna after beating Atalanta in their home stadium to the surprise of eerybody. Though, also Bologna beating Genoa... so the atmosphere for a "winner takes all" is expected.
Five points difference between Bologna - Reggina and the struggle gets tougher with only 5 more games. Even if Reggina win they will still be in the last position.
Reggina will hope for Juventus to beat Lecce and Fiorentina to beat Torino to have some kind of hope to save themselves.... though it seems almost an impossible mission. Yet, the one really to feaar top scorer of the Serie A forward Marco Di Vaio is ready to battle along Sergio Volpi returning from suspension.

Guys, last week I started the preview of Inter with a loud "HEAR YE, HEAR YE, HEAR YE" because they could have almost collected the Scudetto if beating Napoli. Yet, surprise, surprise..... it was Napoli beating Inter with their verdugo forward Marcelo Zalayeta. Today, I start again with the "HEAR YE, HEAR YE, HEAR YE" because if Lazio beat Inter oh my gosh... AC Milan will need to beat Catania and the 7 points difference reduce to only 4 points!!!!!! Simply put, Inter might start their penitence until the end of the season to save the Scudetto or AC Milan can take it away!!!!
Here is the thing guys. Inter despite their leadership is not looking too secure. True, one slip is not the end of the world, but oh gosh why happening after 9 victories!!!!! That is a question which Inter coach Jose Mourinho might be asking to his players.
Disdadvantage for Inter not counting with forward Mario Balotelli and the ex Lazio midfielder Dejan Stankovic for suspension. Making matters worst for Inter Douglas Maicon and Hernan Crespo out for injury too. The pressure will be as usual for forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic to save Inter.
It's the chance for Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera to crown himself as the real first goalkeeper if blocking the super missiles from Inter forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Wow... imagine if the underdog Muslera walk away from the Meazza with a clean sheet!!!! My, My, My... it won't be easy because you have also Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar ready to stop Lazio duo Tommaso Rocchi and Mauro Zarate.
It's a deja vu for Inter fans.... what seemed secure now seems shaking.... the Scudetto might be slipping.. Pressure is not for Lazio, but for Inter to win this game. Lazio -on paper the loser - will go to the Meazza to challenge Inter and even a draw will be like a victory for the biancocelesti.
Disadvantage for Lazio the absence for injury of forward Goran Pandev who would have loved to play this match. Other players missing for injury will be ex Inter midfielder Ousmane Dabo, Diakhite and Christian Manfredini.
Stats are in favor of Inter winning their last 3 home games and drawing only 1 against Palermo. For Lazio, the scenario is not that negative considering that in their last 4 away games they achieved 2 wins, and 2 lost

Wow, guys, God forbid Juventus lose this match because it will be definitely be the cherry on top of the ice cream for the sacking of Coach Claudio Ranieri for the next season.
