I am so happy because I feel much better and getting rid of the flu to enjoy all my soccer games today. HIP HIP HURRAH!!!!!

Get ready with your snacks, lunch, dinner and let's watch our Serie A games!   I am drinking my cup of cappuccino.

Wow, guys, I am eagerly waiting for the match AC Milan 3 - 0 Palermo!!! Oh my gosh... Milan got to win but also Palermo got to win... oh my, my, my!!!!  I better start my prayers right now and wait for the referee to whistle the beginning of the match.

Reggina 2 - 2 Juventus is the other match to follow closely for the race of the second position between Milan and Juventus. Gosh, both have 64 points each!!!!  If Inter lose against Napoli, the difference with the second place will be of only 7 points and there might be some "slim" chances to fight for the Scudetto.  Let's be realistic. I say "slim" because there are only 5 more games totaling 15 points.  The 2008 - 2009 Serie A Season ends on May 31, 2009.  Now, you see why we must follow these games.  I knew it.  So, prepare your meals, snacks, drinks, in advance and jump in any of the bandwagons to cheer for your favorite teams.

Though, the real tough cookie was too tough for Inter.  Napoli blocking Inter with a crucial goal by Marcelo Zalayeta the verdugo of Inter!!!!   Napoli 1 - 0 Inter Milan.  This victory in the San Paolo Stadium is the headstart for Napoli to get over their dark period.  An important victory that open the race for the Scudetto.  Inter has now 74 points, AC Milan 67 points.. Guys. it means 7 points difference and until the end of the season on May 31, 2009 there are 15 more points available.

 CHIEVO VERONA 1 - 2 UDINESE.  What's thebig deal here?  Hum? The big deal is for Chievo Verona fighting for salvation.  Udinese already "saved." Opening the score is Udinese with a penalty conceded by Chievo defender Yepes for a foul on Udinese forward Fabio Quagliarella in the penalty area. Gaetano D'Agostino converting the penalty in the 35th minute.  Towards the end of the match, things changing with the one and only Chievo forward Sergio Pellissier equalizing the score in the 71st minute. Just when everybody thought it was a draw, then BAMMMMMMMMMM in the 93rd minute Gaetano D'Agostino delivering the winning goal!!!!!

Fiorentina 4 - 1 AS Roma  oh my gosh guys!!!! Here is where the whole big deal is cooking...  Prepare a buffet because Fiorentina and Roma having a direct encounter to get the 4th position and continue their dream to be in the Champions League next year.  Yet, guys, what a goleada!!!!!!!!   Fiorentina fans can eat their steak "alla Fiorentina" and Roma wave ciao ciao to the Champions.... 

Let me tell you, the match starting with a super goal from Fiorentina midfielder Juan Manuel "EL LOCO" Vargas in the 6th minute!!! A brace from Alberto Gilardino, and a goal by Massimo Gobbi who was on the pitch only 1 minute when scoring his goal!!!!!  The honor goal for Roma was by forward Julio Cesar Baptista ..... OLEEEEEEEEE the crowd cheering for Fiorentina for this spectacular victory while the crying for Roma.

A surpise with Lazio losing in the Olimpico.  Atalanta with a single goal crashed Lazio's dream to win in front of their fans.!!!!  Bologna beating Genoa....  Guys, the race for the 4th position is open!!!!!!
