Guys, a great decision by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) and my blog  Italian Soccer Serie A  supports the solidarity for our victims in Abruzzo.

One minute of silence will be observed for the victims of the earthquake that hit Abruzzo on all the fields of the upcoming A, B, Pro League and Amateur League matches, along with the youth matches and the Youth and Scholastic sector matches.

Solidarity from the football world for the tragedy that happened yesterday. The Region Tournament was annulled, and the Amateur league stops on Saturday in Abruzzo. On Monday evening, during the match between Cesena and Pro Patria, players and referees were on the field with mourning bands and observed a minute of silence.

The FIGC is planning other solidarity initiatives while the World Cup tour has been cancelled since it was supposed to tour Abruzzo for the Region Tournament.

Futsal also stopped. Today, the league season stopped and the matches, including the Pescara-Luparense match that was supposed to be played in Pescara, were suspended.

The play-off return matches scheduled for the national Under 21 league season were also suspended in Abruzzo. The Division has also decided to postpone the matches scheduled on Saturday, April 11th.
