Palermo have to start playing each game as if it was their last.

- Palermo Coach Davide Ballardini said last week that "we aim for the Champions League"

-Yesterday Palermo started training again for the April 5th game against Torino. The  6 players called up for their national team were absent except Kjer.

- Italy national team players will return tomorrow, April 2, 2009. Goalkeeper Marco Amelia the only Palermo player with the National team.

- The 'squalificato' ruled out for a matchday is Cassani.

"We're going forward, game after game. I think we are already saved. That was the main objective. Now we need to try to make a nice performances (bel-gioco). We need to show that we're a strong team. Winning, well, it's normal that if we win this Sunday, we get to 45 points. If we have fun we can sure hope for the UEFA Cup."
 
The last time the Rosanero beat Torino at home was in season 2006-07. The result was Palermo 3-0 Torino, goals by Corini, Di Michele and Amauri.
