Here are the photos from the Third Day Training of the Italian National team in their last training in the Technical Center of Coverciano before departing to Bari for the 2010 World Cup Qualifier on Wednesday, April 1, 2009.
This is the schedule of the Italian National Team:
Tuesday, March 31, 2009 - Technical Center of Coverciano
h. 10.30 Italian National Training (open to the press)
at the end of the training, Press conference with Coach and players
h. 17.00 Departure from Florence to Bari
h. 18.30 Press conference with Italy Head Coach Marcello Lippi at the San Nicola Stadium.
- Training started with a "pep talk, a motivational talk" and a warm up.
- Guys, Italy Head Coach Marcello Lippi tries again the TRIDENTE this morming with Udinese forward Simone Pepe, Sampdoria forward Giampaolo Pazzini, and Villareal forward Giuseppe Rossi "the PA PE RO" . wow., wow, wow... so it means we are back with the 4-3-3?????
- Tactical trainings dividing the group with defenders and midfielders supposedly for the starting line up:
AC Milan defender Gianluca Zambrotta, Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro, FC Juventus Giorgio Chiellini, and Olympique Lyon defender Fabio Grosso, AS Roma midfielders Daniele De Rossi and Matteo Brighi along with AC Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo. Forwards: Pepe-Pazzini-Rossi.
- Training included ball possession, practice without goalkeepers.
- At the end a practice match game ending with 1-0 goal by Giuseppe rossi.
Here is the thing guys... if Lippi opts for the "tridente Pepe, Pazzini, and Rossi" it will be a real turnover in the national team because might be the remaking of the offense... the rejuvenation.... a face lift.... wow, guys, and if they score, hey, hey, hey... that will be rocking big time!!!!!
Guys, this is my favorite photo today.... Is Marcello Lippi we have to win the "3 points, talking about the Tridente, or asking for 3 slices of pizza?"
