Here is Italy Head Coach Marcello Lippi transmitting the best positive energy to our Azzurri.
Ok, guys, let's go to the bottom... il nocciolo... we already know that Lippi has found his "ideal formation." Today, it was one more day for confirmation and get rid of doubts.
Based on trainings, Lippi will go for a 4-3-3 formation. The Tridente is all "Udinese" style with former Udinese forward Vincenzo Iaquinta as central forward and supported by Udinese forwards Fabio Quagliarella and Antonio "TOTO" Di Natale.
During the training this morning in Coverciano, Lippi gave the famous "orange" pettorine to the possible starting line up. Yes, you got it... the Tridente got their orange practice jackets . The doubt for Lippi was in the midfield whether to use AS Roma midfielder Matteo Brighi or Sampdoria midfielder Angelo Palombo. Well, it seems Lippi opted for Paolombo.
The other doubt was on the recovery of AC Milan defender Gianluca Zambrotta who had some minor left knee problems during the last training. Well, guys, Zambrotta was in the regular training and he is among the privileged ones.Say, no more, here is the possible starting line up for MONTENEGRO - ITALY based on today's final training in Coverciano:
Goalkeeper: Gigi Buffon,
Defenders: Gianluca Zambrotta, Fabio Cannavaro, Giorgio Chiellini, and Fabio Grosso
Midfielders: Angelo Palombo, Andrea Pirlo, and Daniele De Rossi
Forwards: Fabio Quagliarella, Vincenzo Iaquinta, and Antonio Di Natale
Zambrotta and Fabio Grosso will be on the sides while the central defenders duo will be FC Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini and Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro.
Here are photos from the training session.

The History Of The World Cup 1904 - 2002![]()
Football has been played for over 2000 years in some form or another.
The History Of The World Cup features all the immortals in the pantheon of the beautiful game: Pele, Beckenbauer, Zico, Maradona, Platini, Keegan, Baggio, Bergkamp and many more, as well as including highlights from the greatest matches ever played.
Going right back to football's humble beginnings, we start with the creation of the FA in 1863, and FIFA in 1904 by frenchman Jules Rimet. And from there we follow the sport's development and transformation into the truly international phenomenon it is today.
